Hey everyone! Ever since Night Of Champions 2015, through multiple accounts, every month before major WWE pay-per-views, I’ve come on here and booked the cards to make them as exciting, intriguing, and best possible scenarios for the future. I do both NXT and main-roster pay-per-views, as well as the occasional big RAW or Smackdown weekly show. Without further ado, here is how WWE Should Book EVOLUTION 2018!
RED-CARPET PRE-SHOW:
· Well, this is different. WWE announced that there would be a red carpet show prior to Evolution, like at the Hall Of Fame ceremonies every year, where for an hour before Evolution begins women would be interviewed and appear. To my knowledge, there’s no Kickoff panel, no Social Media Lounge, no nothing, but the one thing I will say about this is that to end off the ceremony, Bayley and Sasha Banks are interviewed by Charly Caruso. They do all their hype stuff, vow to defeat the Riott Squad, and talk about how historic this night truly is. As Sasha is answering another question, Shayna Baszler walks up on stage, yanks the mic from Charly’s hand, and rants on about how she wasn’t approached once for an interview in the past hour. Things get tense between Shayna, Sasha and Bayley and Ronda Rousey walks up and gets between them, and plants her feet right next to Shayna. The red carpet goes off the air as half of each respective Four Horsewomen teams stare each other down.
MAIN-SHOW:
·
Well, here we are. The women have worked their asses off for the
last 3 decades and beyond to get to this point. While I as well as many others
feel the true origins of the Women’s Revolution have been greatly
misrepresented by the matches booked on this card, it’s absolutely passable.
There’s enough good on this show to get excited about. Without further ado,
let’s celebrate the Evolution of WOMEN (and also Michael Cole is
there!).

1ST
MATCH: Io Shirai vs. Toni Storm (2018 Mae Young Classic Tournament Final match)
·
What better match to kick off? You end a classic tournament to
begin the first ever Women’s PPV. Io is out first followed by Storm,
and the match goes 17 minutes. This could easily be MOTN. There’s tons of
matches that could hold that name. Even though she’s easily one of if not the
best Women’s wrestler on this whole planet we all live in. If rumors are to be
believed, Io was supposed to lose anyways, she wasn’t even supposed to make it
into the finals, as she was penciled in to be defeated in the Semifinals by
Tegan Nox before her injury. For that reason and the fact that a japanese woman
won the Royal Rumble in Asuka, a japanese woman won last year’s MYC in Kairi
Sane, and it’s time for a change. Toni Storm has been a far bigger MVP of the
tournament over Io, and right under Meiko Satomura as THE MVP, so there’s no
reason not to give it to her. The match ends when Toni is down and
Shirai goes up top for the Diving Moonsault, but Toni rolls out of the way and
Io lands on her feet. Io spins around and Toni hoists her up for the Storm Zero
for the pin.

by PINFALL and 2018 Mae Young Classic Winner: Toni Storm

2ND
MATCH: Alundra Blayze vs. Asuka vs. Billie Kay vs. Carmella vs. Dana Brooke vs.
Ember Moon vs. Ivory vs. Kelly Kelly vs. Lana vs. Mandy Rose vs. Maria Kanellis
vs. Michelle McCool vs. Molly Holly vs. Nia Jax vs. Peyton Royce vs. Sonya
Deville vs. Tamina vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Zelina Vega vs. TBA (Battle Royal for
a future Women’s Championship match)
·
This is a match that is happening I guess or whatever. Most
of the less important women come out together to the PPV theme song, but those
who get their own entrances include Asuka, Carmella, Ember Moon, Nia Jax, and
the legends. The match goes 12 minutes. In the end, the final 4 women are
Asuka, Ember Moon, Nia Jax and Michelle McCool. Nia tosses out McCool
after a big Atomic Legdrop, and the final 3 are Ember, Jax and Asuka. Ember and
Asuka both team up and go wild on Nia. Eclipses, kicks, forearms, and headshots
to the girl that is not like most, and ultimately Nia is sent spiraling over
the top after a simultaneous Eclipse and Running Dropkick from Asuka. Our
final two survivors are now in the ring. RAW vs. Smackdown, two women who are
very familiar with each other from their time in NXT. Asuka and Ember Moon have
an absolutely insane sprint for 2 minutes, hitting their finishers and pulling
moves out of their arsenal we don’t usually ever see. In the end, Asuka would
try to lock the Asuka Lock on Moon, but Moon would slip out and hit a big
Tornado DDT. Asuka eats an Eclipse and Moon clotheslines the Empress over the
top for the big win. As much as Asuka could use this win, she’s already won
a big battle royal this year and is already established, even if her momentum
has been dead as of late. Moon has needed an EMBER ever since coming to the
main roster, and Ember vs. Ronda could be a fun feud for a few months and
easily could be Ronda’s best match so far. Why not give it a try?
WINNER
by last eliminating Asuka: Ember Moon
·
We get an ad for Tapout.
3RD
MATCH: Kairi Sane (c) vs. Shayna Baszler (Singles match for the NXT Women’s
Championship)
·
Kairi is out first followed by Shayna. The match goes 15
minutes and we get formal ring introductions. These two created absolute
magic in Brooklyn and showed how much both women had learned since they first
met in the finals of the first MYC. These two have come such a long way,
especially Shayna who used to be green as grass. This could make a legitimate
case for ending up MOTN, and I’m excited as hell. The two go wild on each
other, near falls, Insane Elbows and Shayna’s submission, however you spell
it. In the big spot of the match and the ending sequence, Kairi
dismantles the announce table and grounds Shayna with a big Roundhouse Kick.
Baszler is laid out across the table and Kairi rolls into the ring and goes up
top. The crowd is now standing on their feet and KAIRI SANE DELIVERS HER
GREATEST AND MOST INSANE INSANE ELBOW OF ALL TIME, SAILING THROUGH THE AIR, STABBING
HER ELBOW INTO THE HEART OF SHAYNA BASZLER THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE DESK. The crowd
is surely engaged in a Holy Shit chant as Kairi just stumbles up at the count
of 8, heaves Shayna’s limp body back in the ring, hooks the legs, AND JUST AS
KAIRI SANE IS ABOUT TO EMBARRASS SHAYNA FOR A SECOND TIME, OUT OF NOWHERE COME
MARINA SHAFIR AND JESSAMYN DUKE, SHAYN’S MMA 4HW BUDDIES. The ref calls for
the bell and Shafir and Duke beat the shit out of Kairi. Shayna eventually
stands back to her feet and squeezes the life out of Sane with the clutch. The
4 Horsewomen of MMA are now all officially debuted on WWE TV, and the build has
begun to the big 4HW vs. 4HW match down the line.

WINNER
by Disqualification and STILL NXT Women’s Champion: Kairi Sane
·
We get an ad for WWE2K19.
4TH
MATCH: Bayley, Natalya and Sasha Banks vs. The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Liv
Morgan and Sarah Logan) (6-Woman Tag Team match)
·
The Squad that Riots is out first followed by The Huggers of
Boss Pawz. The match goes 12 minutes. There’s not really much to
say about this match, but it’s a damn shame that Bayley and Sasha have been
relegated to a 6-woman tag with one week of build on the first ever all-women’s
PPV. The babyfaces get the win after Natalya locks Liv in the
Sharpshooter, Ruby runs in to try and break it up but gets caught with a
Backstabber into the Bank Statement by Sasha, and Sarah Logan tries to save her
buddies from tapping out but gets caught with a big Bayley To Belly for the win.
I’d like to think that after this show, Bayley and Sasha will finally begin to
get their REAL feud started, but we’ve been saying that since 2015, so I hope
for nothing with them anymore.
WINNERS
by PINFALL: Bayley, Natalya and Sasha Banks
·
As the three women celebrate in the ring, Stephanie McMahon’s music
hits and she wheels a podium down to ringside with a tarp covering something on
top of it. Stephanie applauds the 6 women for a great match and says that it’s
time for women to evolve even further, that whole spiel. She announces that
with the influx of incredible women’s talent joining the WWE from all around
the world, she’s come to the decision that it’s time to introduce WWE WOMEN’S
TAG TEAM TITLES. I’m not sure how they will be planning to do this, maybe it
will be dual-brand, we’ll see. But this has been rumored for the longest time
and is definitely ready to be introduced.
·
We get ad for Kay Jewlers.
5TH
MATCH: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair (Last Woman Standing match for the
WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship)
·
Becky is out first followed by Charlotte. The match goes
25 minutes, the longest of the night, and we get formal ring introductions
during which Charlotte is attacked during her introduction by the champ.
This is gonna be a bloodbath. This has been a fantastic feud and Becky has been
one of the best characters in wrestling of 2018. The two use every weapon in
the book on each other. The finish comes in the form of a brilliant
idea by none other than Bubba Ray Dudley. Surely Ric Flair will be in
attendance in the crowd, in the front row. Becky exposes the padding outside of
the ring and hits a nasty Exploder Suplex on Charlotte. Ric is in the crowd
screaming at Becky to stop, and Becky grabs Ric and throws him over the
barricade to the floor. Becky locks Ric in the Disarmer as the referee counts
to ten. She gets in Charlotte’s face and threatens to break her father’s arm if
she doesn’t stay down. Charlotte gets to one knee and Becky locks it on a
little tighter. Charlotte is crying now and the ref gets to 10 as Becky stands
up at the very last second. As Becky’s name is announced in victory, BECKY
BREAKS FLAIR’S ARM ANYWAYS AND SPRINTS OFF INTO THE CROWD AS CHARLOTTE
TENDS TO RIC. Flair is screaming in pain, rolling around as Becky retreats into
the WWE Universe. Stone Cold Becky Lynch will do what she wants when she wants.
WINNER
and STILL SmackDown Women’s Champion: Stone Cold Becky Austin
·
We get an ad from the commentators thanking the artist of the
official theme of the PPV.
6TH
MATCH: Alicia Fox and Mickie James (w/ Alexa Bliss) vs. Lita and Trish Stratus
(Tag Team match)
·
Poor Alexa Bliss, man. She missed out on the Women’s Royal
Rumble AND this PPV. Team Bliss is out first followed by the M A S T E R S of
the Attitude Era, even though they were actually featured in success in the
Ruthless Aggression era. Yes, that’s their official team name. The
match goes 8 minutes and it’s mostly just comprised of shennanigans on
the outside from Alexa trying to distract the legends and lots of finishers.
Whether it was Alexa or Fox teaming with Mickie, it was always apparent that
there was no way Trish and Lita were losing. The faces when after Lita
hits a Moonsault on Foxy, followed by a Stratusfaction for the pin.
WINNERS
by PINFALL: Lita and Trish Stratus
·
We get an ad for Survivor Series next month.
7TH
MATCH: Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Nikki Bella (w/ Brie Bella) (Singles match for the
WWE RAW Women’s Championship)
·
Oh boy, here we go. This will be the greatest mess of all
time. Nikki is out first followed by Ronda, and the match goes 16
minutes. Nikki Bella absolutely should not be the one to beat Ronda Rousey.
That much I know. However, that doesn't mean that WWE shouldn't feel
compelled to absolutely troll the shit out of the fans in every way possible
setting up near-fall after near-fall that make it look like Nikki is about to
win. You can have Ronda's feet under the ropes and have the ref not see at
first, you can have Nikki use the ropes for leverage, you can have her hit like
30 Rack Attacks in a row and have Ronda just kick out, it's gonna be amazing to
watch. In the end though, the nonsense is cut through and Ronda locks in the
Armbar and taps out Nikki. At the end of the match, Shayna Bazler, Jessamyn
Duke and Marina Shafir come down the ramp and all raise each others hands in
the ring to end the show. We cut backstage, and Sasha, Bayley and Charlotte all
watch the TV, look at each other and nod. The war is just brewing.
