Takeover last night, and Nakamura suffered that kayfabe knee injury, so it's
pretty obvious he won't enter the Rumble tonight, as I had him as a surprise at
#18. I would just put TJ Perkins/Hideo Itami in that spot insteead.
Hey everyone! Every month, days
before PPV's happen, I share my thoughts on the show and card and how I would
book the show that has unexpected swerves, returns, debuts, and a memorable
show that would leave fans happy. If you want, you can read some past editions
of these by clicking on my name and searching. I have been doing these for every
PPV since Night Of Champions 2015. I hope you enjoy, and this is how I would
book the 2017 ROYAL RUMBLE. This is Part 2 of 2, where I book the entire Rumble
match. I'll have a table of everything down below, so you can see that if it's
easier, along with the actual post of me explaining everything that happens.

Here we go. I'll start Part 2 by
saying what I put at the end of Part 1: "Get ready for Part 2. The winner
may surprise you. It's the Royal Rumble match. 30 men. One winner. The
surprises. The returns. The debuts. The shock. The awe. The saves. The Road. To
Wrestlemania. Begins now."
5TH MATCH: 2017 Royal Rumble Match
- Here's the table, as I explained in the intro above.
- Here. We. Go. We get the traditional "Rumble By
The Numbers" video package before the match, and also even before
that, we get a dozen or so short inset promos with everyone saying how
they'll win the Rumble. The ring bell tolls, and we get Lilian Garcia once
again announcing that "The following is the 2017 Royal Rumble
match". She explains the rules and says the winner gets a a shot at
their brand's World Title in the main event of Wrestlemania 33. I'd think
especially with the show being 4 hours, this will be one of the, if not
the longest Rumble matches. I'd have it go about an hour and 7-8 minutes.
- Sheamus's music hits and he's out at #1. He makes his
entrance with his RAW Tag Title, and he's all jolly that he and Cesaro
retained earlier in the night. He gets a mic and says he'll win the
Rumble, and he'll main event Wrestlemania and go on to hold the Universal
Title for the rest of time. The crowd boos, as WWE crowd do not like the
Sheamoose. As luck would have it, his partner Cesaro's music hits and he's
going to start off the Royal Rumble with his Tag Team Champ partner.
Sheamus and Cesaro shake hands and then go at it. 90 seconds passes, and
the crowd stands up as the clock appears on the titantron and counts down
the time until #3 enters the Rumble match.
- The buzzer sounds, and the crowd begins to sing as Sami
Zayn enters at #3. Three RAW guys starting off. There will be 3893 WM
storylines either set up and started or furthered in this match, and Zayn
is the dark horse to win the whole damn thing. He needs to set the new
longetivity record, beating Rey. His character is perfect for it, he can
survive the entire way through, maybe even making it to the final 4, maybe
final 2, and maybe winning. We'll have to see. Zayn runs wild and delivers
corner-exploder suplexes to the RAW Tag Champs. They both get up, leaning
against the turnbuckles on opposite corners, and Sami runs and hits a
Helluva Kick on Sheamus, and he's stunned and wobbles and falls in the
center of the ring. Zayn runs and tries to do the same to Cesaro, but
Cesaro counters by throwing Sami into the air for a Very European
Uppercut. Cesaro and Sami brawl and bit, and 90 seconds passes and #4
makes his way out.
- The buzzer sounds, and out at #4 is Luke Harper to his
Swamp Gas theme. The first SDLive entrant in the match. Harper runs wild,
and delivers Disqus Clotheslines to the first three men. Harper does a
Gator Roll to Sami, and then he goes to the corner to recover. Cesaro and
Sheamus try to team up to take out Harper, and they strike him and beat
him down. Cesaro holds Harper's arms back and Sheamus goes for a Brogue
Kick, but Luke ducks and Sheamus accidentally kicks Cesaro. Harper takes
advantage of Sheamus's shock and whips him into the ropes, Harper tries to
lug The Celtic Warrior over the top, and then the clock shows that #5 is
about to enter.
- 5 is another Smackdown entrant in BARON CORBIN. Sheamus
escapes the earlier elimination attempt by Harper and now works him over
in the corner. Corbin circles the ring and doesn't get in at first, but
now Sami Zayn has recovered and stares down Big Banter on the apron.
Corbin laughs, and enters the ring. Zayn immediately starts a barrage of
kicks and strikes, trying to knock the big man down. Sheamus and Cesaro
work down Harper, and Zayn and Corbin go at it as #6 is about to come out.
- The buzzer sounds and out at #6 comes 1/3 of the New
Day in Xavier Woods. Xavier is playing Francesca on his way down the ramp
and then tosses it to a a ref on the outside to put it in the timekeepers
area for safe keeping. Woods does his Springboard Elbow, knocking all 5
others down. Woods goes crazy after and claps to New Day Rocks. The 6 all
work each other down, and Xavier tries to eliminate both Sami Zayn and
Cesaro, but they both escape. The countdown clock appears once again and
#7 makes his way out.
- Out at #7 is the newest Heel in WWE, Dolph Ziggler of
Smackdown. Everyone eats a Superkick from the Zig-man except Baron Corbin,
who nails Dolph with a Deep Six. Corbin tries to get Ziggler over the top,
but Sami Zayn runs up from behind and tips both men over the top, but they
both hang on the ropes and escape elimination. Harper nails Sami with a
Michonoku Driver, and then works over Sami in the corner. Not even 1/3
through, Zayn has already suffered quite a beating. 90 seconds have
passed, and the clock appears for #8. The Rumble match is about to get
Sycho.
- Out at #8 is the first "surprise" of the 2017
Rumble match, a legend returns in SYCHO SID. I feel like this would be a
great surpise, considering he ties in to the 1997 Rumble, walking in as
WWF champ. Everyone stops and stares as Sid slowly makes his way to the
ring. Sid stares down Baron Corbin in a Battle of the Behemoths. Sid and
Corbin exchange lefts and rights and then Cesaro runs up behind Corbin and
hits a huge German Suplex on Baron. Harper and Sid fight in the corner and
Sami tries to eliminate Harper.
- It's time for #9 and it's the second member of the New
Wyatts to enter the match, Randy Orton. Orton nails and RKO on everyone,
and Zayn tries to catch Orton with a Crossbody off the top rope, but Orton
catches Sami with an RKO. Baron Corbin gets up behind Orton and gets Orton
up for an End Of Days, but Orton escapes over his shoulder and tries to
hit an RKO, but Corbin pushes him down, and hits an End of Days on Randy.
Harper tries to run at Corbin to help Orton, but Corbin grounds him with a
Clothesline. Corbin whips Sid into the ropes, and then hits a Big Boot.
Corbin throws out the legend Sycho Sid for the first elimination of the
rumble to big heat. Ever since Orton has come in at 9, the arena has been
filled with 10 chants and Tye Dillinger chants. The clock appears on the
screen. 10.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1. And then back to 10.
- The buzzer sounds, and then the lights go out. The
crowd boos at first, as they think this isn't the person they want.
Suddenly, a number of dots appear on the titantron, and they keep
multiplying until it zooms out and the number 10 appears on the screen.
The crowd goes mental and out comes Tye Dillinger to a sea of 10 chants
throughout the Alamodome. Dillinger soaks in the crowd for a few seconds,
throws his hands up for the 10 chant, and then throws off his shirt into
the crowd and runs into the ring. Dillinger dominates everyone, and
delivers a Tyebreaker to Harper and Woods. Tye works over Ziggler and
elbows him in the face, and then hits a Tyebreaker on Dolph and throws him
over the top rope for the second elimination of the Rumble. Dillinger does
the 10 chants with the crowd again and Orton sneaks up from behind and
tips Dillinger over the top but the 10 man hangs on. Sami Zayn delivers a
backstabber to Orton and then hits a Corner Exploder to Tye. Tye gets up
in the corner and Zayn runs to the opposite corner to hit a Helluva kick
but Tye holds out his hands in the stop motion. Tye then raises his hands
and does the 10 chant, and then kicks Zayn in the gut, and whips him into
the corner to try to eliminate Sami.
- 11 enters and it's the 2nd member of New Day to enter,
the Royal Rumble elimination specialist himself, KOFI KINGSTON! Kofi runs
down and Woods is up now and he and Xavier face down Orton and Harper. One
of RAW's top teams vs SD's. Corbin runs all 4 men down, and then Cesaro
& Sheamus both run at Corbin but Corbin pulls down the rope and
eliminates the RAW Tag Team champs, 1 and 2. Corbin now has 3
eliminations, and Dillinger has 1. After the elimination, The Club runs
out and beats down Cesaro and Sheamus on the outside. They're pissed they
once agained failed to capture the titles earlier in the Pre Show. Gallows
and Anderson nail a Magic Killer to Sheamus through the announce table on
the stage, and then Gallows powerbombs Cesaro off the stage through a
stack of tables. The crowd chants "Holy shit" and Ambrose comes
out during this beating. The Club then walks to the back with the RAW Tag
titles in hand.
- 12 is out next and it's the Intercontinental Champion,
Dean Ambrose. He passes Gallows and Anderson on his way out. I really feel
like Dean is the dark horse of this Rumble, and no one is really giving
him a chance to win, (even though there's still a less than 0.0000000
chance he will). Dean runs right into Kofi as he slides into the ring, and
Kofi throws a right but Ambrose ducks and does his rebound clothesline,
knocking Kingston inside out. Ambrose battles Orton and Zayn and the clock
appears for #13.
- At #13, IT'S TIME TO RIDE MUSTACHE MOUNTAIN,
MOTHERFUCKERS. I know that's Trent Seven's thing, but.. Tyler Bate has a
cool mustache too.. so... SHUT UP, LET ME IMAGINE THINGS. Out at lucky #13
is Tyler Bate, the UK Champion. I feel like they had to have at least one
UK guy in the match to give the UK brand some exposure, and who better
than the champ himself, Bate? Tyler goes crazy and hits all his moves.
Except Corbin, who is already down. Bate goes and stomps Corbin once in
the corner, and then looks to the stage as the clock appears. Bate thinks
in his mind he can take anyone. No one can touch him.. #14 then enters.
- BRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNN. Strowman's music
hits to a big pop and out he runs to the ring. He and Tyler Bate have a
staredown and Bate looks like an ant compared to Bram Showman. Tyler
delivers a stiff forearm to the face of Braun, and then runs off the ropes
and tries to do it a bit harder each time. The final time, Braun kills
Tyler with a clothesline, and then Strowman throws Tyler over the top
rope. Bate hangs on, and then springs off the top rope and hits a
Hurricarana on Braun, knocking the big man down. Strowman wobbles to his
feet and then Bate HITS A TYLER DRIVER 97 ON BRAUN STROWMAN. Bate seems
incredibly strong based on the things he did in the UK Tourney, so I'm
sure he could pull this off. Harper hits a Disqus Clothesline on Bate, and
Zayn tries to eliminate Woods. #15 is set to enter next.
- We are officially halfway through the Rumble field now,
and out at #15 is Big E, completing the New Day. Big E runs through
everyone, and then Tye knocks all three members of New Day down and runs
wild on them. Tye has been hot all throughout his time in the match, and
then Corbin grabs Dillinger and tosses him over the top like a dick for
the mega heat. Baron Corbin now has eliminated 4 men.
- Out at #16 is Bray Wyatt, completing the Wyatt family.
The Wyatts have a faceoff with New Day, now with the full teams, and
Corbin works over Zayn in the corner. Tyler Bate gets up on the top rope,
and jumps into all 6 men. Bate goes crazy but Strowman picks him up from
behind and delivers the running powerbomb to Bate for the elimination.
Strowman and Corbin clear house, and then find themselves in the center of
the ring, and have a staredown. Bray then whips Strowman around and has a
staredown with his former Wyatt Family breatherin. Wyatt screams at Braun
of what he could've been, and then Orton comes out of nowhere and nails
Strowman with an RKO. Bray and Orton try to work together to eliminate
Braun, but Braun beats them both down.
- Out at #17, it's time to learn that YOU DON'T GET HYPE,
YOU STAAY HYPE. Mojo Rawley is 17. I think I know why they put him in this
Rumble on SDLive by having him win the Battle Royale. Either they just
want him in for 1 second and have him set the new shortest record, or
he'll be the geek that Seth Rollins attacks to get his spot in the Rumble
that HHH screwed him out of to Sami on RAW, and that's exactly what
happens. Mojo is making his way out, and is getting hyped up, when Rollins
comes up from behind with a chair. Rollins nails Mojo with a Pedigree on
the chair on the stage, and then runs to the ring. This isn't nessecarily
a heel move from Rollins, he just wants to sabotage HHH's company and do
things against his wishes, and he knew from the second Zayn took his spot
that HHH purposely meant to hit his own music and screw him. Kind of a
desperate Rollins focused on getting his way to HHH. Rollins was the first
to enter the ring at 17, so technically, as has happened before with Rowan
attacking Axel in 2015 and entering at his spot, Seth Rollins is #17.
Rollins goes mental. He immediately nails Sami with a Buckle Bomb into the
corner, hits a Slingeblade on Harper, then Orton swings him around, and
drapes him across the middle rope for his DDT, but Rollins gets back into
the ring, and rolls up Orton but then does his Superkick, he nails Corbin
with a Springboard knee, Wyatt swings Seth down for a Sister Abigail, but
then Rollins gets out and also hits Bray with a knee. New Day is still
down from Tyler Bate and Rollins and Ambrose have a staredown. They both
look at Strowman, and then Rollins and Ambrose hit a Double Powerbomb to
the big man. The clock appears at about 11 seconds, and then #18 enters.
- 18 is Shinsuke Nakamura. The crowd blows the roof off
for the King of Strong Style. The previous night he had lost his NXT Title
to the Glorious one, and now he's trying to main event WM. This wouldn't
be his main roster debut yet, more like a special appearance from an NXT
star like Sami did in the Rumble in 2016 before making his offcial debut
the night after Fast Lane. Shinsuke has his jacket and the crowd sings
along to his theme. Zayn hits a Blue Thunderbomb to Ambrose in the ring,
and then Shinsuke has a staredown with Rollins and Zayn. Three of the very
best in WWE right now. Shinsuke and Zayn mostly stare down eachother,
because they have history after Shinsuke won his debut match against Sami
in THAT VERY GOOD MATCH at Takeover Dallas, night before WM32. Shinsuke
and Sami both trade wild strikes to each other, and Rollins and Ambrose
continue to work over Luke Harper in the corner. Strowman is recovered
now, and New Day all try to tackle down the monster among men again but
Braun pushes Woods and Big E down. Kofi jumps off the top rope but Braun
catches him in his arms. Kofi Kingston Royal Rumble elimination save
spot incoming. This could be a very risky idea, for more reasons than
one, so for the first few parts in the crowd could be plants that could
catch Kofi easily, maybe some stronger guys Braun throws Kofi over the top
rope, over the barricade into the crowd. This may or may not work, so
security would follow Kofi around while this happens, but Kofi goes crowd
surfing, and Woods slides under the bottom rope to play Francesca while
this happens. Kofi goes all the way from when he was thrown into the crowd
on the right side of the ring if you're on the ramp facing straight to the
left side in that angle. Kofi then jumps up on the barricade and hops onto
the steps and reenters the ring. My god. Imagine if this happened. The
clock appears and the crowd counts down 10 to the nineteenth entrant.
- 19 IS NONE OTHER THAN BROCK EDWARD LESNAR. Brock come
out with Heyman and eliminates Dean Ambrose. Woods runs at Lesnar but
Lesnar F-5's Xavier over the top to the floor, eliminating Woods. Brock
delivers Suplexes to everyone, and then out of nowhere, The Club all come
in and attack everyone. Brock and Strowman have a staredown, and then
Brock nails Braun with a thuderous F-5. Shinsuke is in the corner now, and
sets up for the Kinshasa. Lesnar is knocked down early with a knee to the
face, as Corey Graves, who is hopefully on commentary screams
KINSHAAASAAA. Lesnar is busted open from this. This is your
Nakamura/Lesnar match for now. Rollins nails Nakamura with a Ushigoroshi.
Sami runs at Rollins but eats a Pedigree. Rollins is dominating when the
clock hits for #20 to make his way out. 2/3 of the way through now.
Rollins works over Woods in the corner. Rollins looks to the stage, as the
clock hits 1.
- 20 is Finn Balor. THE DEMON HAS RETURNED. Finn does his
normal, much shorter entrance, but has his demon paint on. Finn stares
down Rollins. Rollins was the one who "injured" Balor back at
Summerslam with the Buckle Bomb into the barricade. Balor stretches out a
hand, and Rollins puts his hand out but Balor immediately hits a Pele
Kick. Rollins goes down and Balor goes wild on Seth. Balor gets Rollins in
the corner and is going for the Shotgun Dropkick, but Rollins grabs both
of Finn's legs, and hoists him up in Powerbomb position. The crowd is
scared as Rollins runs to hit the Buckle bomb, but Finn hits a Hurricarana
and sends Rollins crashing into the corner and post. Balor goes to the
opposite corner now, and runs and nails Rollins with a sliding dropkick.
Big E tries to eliminate Lesnar, but Baron Corbin kicks Lesnar in the nuts
and then gets Big E on his shoulders and throws him over. Baron Corbin has
now eliminated 5 men, Brock has eliminated 2, Strowman has eliminated 1,
Dillinger has 1. Out comes #21.
- 21 is CHRIS JERICHO. He walks out unbelievably slowly,
and has a crutch and is all covered in bandages just from being in the
Koji Clutch from the wake of destruction from Samoa Joe earlier in the
Universal Title match. Jericho is definitely one of the favorites. Jericho
pushes down his crutch and hobbles to the ring. Fun fact, if Jericho
lasts over 4 minutes in this year's Rumble, which he obviously will, he'll
surpass HHH for the longest cumulative time spent in the Rumble. The
final New Day member is in the ring. As Jericho walks down, Lesnar runs up
behind Baron and hits a huge Belly to Belly. Kofi is focused on Big E, who
just got eliminated and tells E he'll win the Rumble for New Day, but Bray
Wyatt runs up from behind and tips Kofi over the top for his first
elimination. Zayn and Harper brawl now, and Lesnar has Jericho in a Kimura.
Nakamura tries to fight off the Wyatts now.
- Out at #22 is Apollo Crews from SD. The Wyatts are
beating down Shinsuke Nakamura, and Nakamura manages to stun Harper and
Bray for a moment with knees and headbutts. Orton runs at Nakamura, but
Nakamura holds down the top rope. Orton hangs on, but Harper runs at
Nakamura, Nakamura moves, and Harper accidentally eliminates his Wyatt
partner, Randy Orton. Orton is livid and hears the voices in his head
after this. Ever since Orton joined the Wyatts, he's had one problem. Luke
Harper. Ever since Orton has joined the Wyatts, Harper has had one
problem. Randy Orton. Randal Keith finally has had enough and snaps at
Harper. Orton paces back and forth and the refs tell him to leave but
Orton rushes the ring and nails Harper with an RKO and throws him over the
top. Orton and Harper brawl all throughout the crowd and eventually
backstage. Wyatt yells for Orton to come back and stop. Bray watches
Harper and Orton go to the back, and Wyatt stops for a moment and thinks.
He can either stop the brawl between his family, or win the Rumble and go
on to make the Wyatts the most powerful group in WWE by winning the WWE
World Title at WM. Bray looks to the stage and the backstage area, then
looks to the WM sign, and then growls and feels Apollo come up behind him.
Apollo runs at Bray and Bray launches him over the top for his 2nd
elimination of the Rumble. Wyatt is pissed at how uncooperative Harper and
Orton have been together and beats down everyone in the ring in a fit of
rage. Bray Wyatt nails Sami with a Sister Abigai. Sami, who entered at #3,
has been in the match for about 40 minutes now. Scars are all over his
body. Wyatt drops to his knees and yells that this trouble and anger
inside of him is making him more dangerous than ever. The clock appears on
the screen and he does the "Bring it on" motion with his hands.
He spreads his arms and yells to Follow the Buzzards. The buzzer sounds,
and out comes #23.
- Gong. Gong. Gong. It's the godamn Undertaker.
Undertaker makes his full entrance, and Strowman comes up from behind and
tries to eliminate Bray, who is distracted by Undertaker's entrance. Sami
Zayn then runs up and tries to eliminate both men, but they both hang on.
Undertaker finally enters the ring, and delivers Chokeslams to Bray and
Zayn individually. Strowman then stands up to Undertaker, and Undertaker
punches Braun square in the jaw. Taker goes off the ropes and delivers
blows and his jumping clothesline to Strowman. Taker then gives Braun an
Old School, and chokeslams him over the top. Big elimination from Taker,
eliminating the dominant Strowman. Taker turns around into Finn Balor
standing right behind him. The Demon vs the Deadman. A match everyone
wanted at WM32 before Shane returned. Balor looks hesitant at first, but then
Balor and Taker brawl. The clock appears at #24 enters.
- WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLL. WELL IT'S THE BIG
SHOW. The very much slimmed down Big Show makes his way to the ring. I
don't get why Show is in this match, as surprisingly pleasant as it has been
to see him lately. This spot could've gone to someone like TJ Perkins, and
there should've been a CW in this Rumble. Unfortunately, there just wasn't
enough room for him on my list after the first 22 were announced. Big Show
enters over the top rope, but Strowman runs in and immediately eliminates
Big Show. Everyone is shocked. Not only is this revenge for Big Show
confronting him on RAW, but Braun is furious about being eliminated after
his destruction by Undertaker. Strowman throws Big Show over the top, and
then tackles the giant through a barricade. The refs all have to separate
Strowman. Strowman raises his arms and yells. The refs have to help Big
Show up to the back.
- Out at 25 is Kane in his 17th Royal Rumble match in his
career. Kane and Taker immediately reunite as the Brothers of Destruction
and take out everyone. Taker and Kane both deliver chokeslams to Nakamura
and Rollins. Lesnar grabs Taker and nails him with a German. Brock whips
Kane into the corner and nails him with high knee. Brock hits Kane with an
F-5, and then grabs Lesnar by the throat, and stares him down for a few
seconds, and thinks about Lesnar ending his streak as he hits the
Chokeslam. Kane is still dazed in the corner from Lesnar, and Sami finally
connects with a Helluva Kick outta nowhere, and eliminates KANE. Huge
elimination for Sami.
- Rusev enters next at 26. Rusev immediately locks Sami
in the Accolade, and then tries to eliminate the weakened and exhausted
Zayn. Bray grabs Rusev and Ru-Ru eats a Sister Abigail. Bray tries to
throw Rusev over the top but Rusev hangs on and sends Wyatt over too, and
they both almost hit the floor. Rusev and Bray Wyatt battle on the apron
as Rollins battles Taker, Corbin battles Jericho, and Nakamura and Zayn
fight.
- Heath Slater enters at 27. 27 has produced the most
wins of any spot in the Rumble. Can Heath achieve the dream for his kids
and buy an upgrade for his aboveground pool? Heyman rallies Lesnar on, and
Heath runs in and Lesnar immediately kills Slater with a Belly to Belly
over the top rope. Eliminations Update: Baron Corbin has eliminated 5 men,
Brock has eliminated 3, Strowman has thrown out 2, Bray Wyatt 2,
Undertaker 1, Dillinger, 1, Harper 1, Orton 1, Zayn 1.
- Big Cass is in at 28. Big Cass comes in and cleans
house. Cass then goes right after his rival, Rusev. Rollins sneaks up and
eliminates both men. Cass hits an East River Crossing on the outside and
then goes to the back. Lesnar hits an F-5 on everyone and begins
dominating. Lesnar hits an F-5 on Corbin, and finally throws out Big
Banter after a dominant performance. Lesnar does his Pterodactyl scream,
and then rolls out under the bottom rope and gets a steel chair. The clock
appears on the screen, and Lesnar slams the chair on the apron. It's time
to get serious. Lesnar beats down Taker with the chair and #29 makes his
way out.
- IT'S GOLDBERG at 29. We see Big Bill come out of his
locker room and he makes his big entrance. Goldberg stands on the apron
and Lesnar has his chair in hand. Lesnar is still bleeding from the
Kinshasa from Nakamura earlier in the match, and Goldberg eventually steps
into the ring. The Beast incarnate swings at Goldberg with the chair but
Goldberg goes off the ropes and spears Lesnar out of his boots. As
Goldberg dominates, Jericho hits Codebreakers to both Nakamura and Zayn,
and then Goldberg and Jericho turn around into a staredown. Some of
Jericho's bandages have worn off and are peeling, and Jericho and Goldberg
have history with Y2J and Goldberg's real shoot fight. Jericho has
something behind his back and begs Goldberg to spare him. Goldberg signals
for the jackhammer, but Jericho nails Goldberg with the list to a big pop.
Jericho points to the WM sign and yells to "Drink it in, man".
Jericho picks up Goldberg, and goes to eliminate Bill but Goldberg hits
his Jackhammer on Jericho. Goldberg runs the ropes and clotheslines Y2J
over the top for the upset elimination. One of the favorites is now out.
Finally, the clock appears on the screen and titantron for #30. Who is it?
Who could it be? 30 is obviously the best spot to get... the clock counts
from 10, and then the buzzer sounds for the final entrant.
- Number 30. DANIEL BRYAN's MUSIC HITS. The crowd erupts
but out comes The Miz and Maryse doing the Yes Chant, skipping. I in no
way take credit for this idea. I have seen it at least 100 times all
across the internet. I think it's brilliant. After it's revealed to be
Miz, Miz's music starts playing and he walks to the ring. The Bryan music
idea is brilliant enough, but why not after a brilliant Rumble match, have
Miz come out at 30 just to sour the mood? It would also be a way of
mocking Bryan not being in the Rumble in 2014, and how everyone expected
him at 30, but it turned out to be Rey. All the Rumble entrants have
entered. Miz is 30. The remaining participants are as follows: Sami Zayn;
Finn Balor; Seth Rollins; Shinsuke Nakamura; Bray Wyatt; Brock Lesnar;
Goldberg; Undertaker; and the Miz. One of those 9 men is going to
Wrestlemania. Zayn has been in the match at least an hour now, entering at
#3. Zayn has just barely survived all throughout the match and is
exhausted. He's suffered a number of beatdowns. The 9 just fight for a few
minutes. Miz tries to eliminate Lesnar, but Lesnar gets out, hits a German
on Miz, and tosses him over the top. Goldberg runs at Lesnar for a Spear
and eliminates Lesnar. Lesnar is livid and runs back into the ring and
throws Goldberg over the top. Goldberg and Lesnar brawl through the crowd.
Undertaker looks as Goldberg and Lesnar leave. The final 6 all stare
off. Nakamura. Taker. Balor. Rollins. Bray Wyatt. Nakamura runs at
Taker for a Kinshasa, but Taker grabs Shinsuke's throat, and chokeslams
Nakamura off the top turnbuckle, eliminating Shinsuke. An impressive
showing from Nakamura, but as I said earlier, this isn't even his official
Main roster debut. This will make his name known when he likely debuts on
the SD after Wrestlemania, I'd have him on SD. The final 5 are now in the
ring. THE UNDERTAKER. FINN BALOR. SAMI ZAYN. SETH ROLLINS. BRAY WYATT.
Rollins tries to eliminate Bray, but out of nowhere, HHH comes out. He's
livid about Rollins' attack on him, which would happen the last night at
Takeover San Antonio, which you can read if you just click on my name and
it's literally 2-3 posts down. Read the beginning to understand more on
that. Rollins turns around and Trips nails Seth in the head with a
Sledgehammer. HHH rips off his suit cuit and unbuttons his shirt. HHH
nails Seth with a Spinebuster and then continues to beat him down and
targets his core with sledgehammer shots. HHH screams into Seth's ear that
he took him out of the Rumble for a reason. He wasn't supposed to be in.
He can't try to sabotage his company. He says he will end Seth's career
once and for all, and says that Rollins was never "The Authority's guy".
HHH hits a Pedigree on the Sledgehammer and then leaves and yells at
anyone in the ring to eliminate Seth. Bray Wyatt does so. HHH leaves with
his sledgehammer over his shoulder and his face is red with rage. He got
the job done tonight. HHH screws Rollins once again; this time out of the
Rumble match; out of the final four; out of his chance to become champion
and main event WM. We now have the final four in the 2017 Royal Rumble
Match. The Undertaker. Sami Zayn. Finn Balor. Bray Wyatt. Bray and
Zayn are down in the corners now. Finn Balor and Taker meet once again.
The Deadman and the Demon. Balor hits a Pele Kick on Taker, knocking him
into the ropes. Balor runs to the other side of the ring, and bounces off
the ropes, and hits a Shotgun kick, barely taking The Phenom off his feet.
He tries it again, and Taker goes a little higher. Balor goes and hits it
a third time. TAKER GOES OVER THE TOP ROPE. If they're not gonna do
Reigns/Joe at Mania like I talked about in Part 1 in the UV Title match
Joe destruction, then it's being heavily rumoured by sources such as Dave
Meltzer and the WON that Roman Reigns vs The Undertaker is a big
possibility for WM. Don't know about you, but I'd honestly actually really
want to see that. They could just do Joe vs Owens at Fast Lane for the UV
Title, since the biggest attack by Joe would techically always be on the
champ. Plus, Joe debuted against KO in NXT, and they've still never
finished that feud. Again, I'll have my cards for both the Chamber PPV and
Fast Lane at the end of this post. Reigns, out of frustration, has a
neckbrace on after the Joe attack, and Reigns is pissed that he failed to
become UV Champion; he wants to show someone else what it's like to be
screwed; back to the Rumble match. Balor knocks Undertaker to the apron
with his Shotgun Dropkick barrage. Out of nowhere, Reigns runs up into the
apron and nails Taker with a Superman punch, and Taker drops to the floor,
eliminated. The crowd is devastated and Reigns spears Taker on the ramp.
Refs have to separate Roman. The final 3: Bray Wyatt. Entered at #16.
Finn Balor. Entered at #20. Sami Zayn. Entered at #3. Sami hits a
Helluva Kick on Balor, and then waits for Balor to get up for another one.
Balor moves, and hits a 1916. Balor then goes to the top and hits the first
Coup De Grace of his return. Balor throws Zayn over the top, and Zayn is
looks like a ghost. Battle wounds show all over his body. Drenched in
sweat. Bray runs up on Balor and hits a Sister Abigail. Bray yells to
Follow the buzzards and turns around to see that all of a sudden Orton and
Harper are still fighting, and they have brawled back into the arena.
Harper throws Orton down the ramp. Orton whips Harper into the steps, and
takes the top step off. Bray has had it and screams at the top of his
lungs for the madness to stop. Orton doesn't listen and gets Bray up on
the apron and hits his DDT to Bray onto the floor. Orton throws Bray back
into the ring and then clotheslines him out. Orton nails Bray with an RKO
on the steps. Randy Orton has officially snapped on the Wyatts. Orton
walks out, looking like a madman. We have our final two. Finn Balor
& Sami Zayn. Balor and Zayn are in opposite corners and Zayn has
hopefully set the new longevity record; Zayn and Balor go face to face as
Finn's paint is also smeared. They both look and point at the WM33 sign.
Balor and Zayn have a nice little sequence and they both keep dodging each
other's finishers. Balor catches Zayn's foot trying to hit the Helluva
kick and whacks Zayn with a Spinning Heel kick. Balor hits a Coup De
Grace. Finn Balor throws Sami Zayn over the top to win the 2017 Royal
Rumble. Zayn will be over huge. He almost won. Final 2. Over an hour he
was in. This will be the launch of his career. Zayn and Balor hug after
the match as Sami gets back in. Sami looks at the sign one last time, and
then leaves the ring. You feel terrible for Zayn and how far and close he
came, but Finn Balor in his return gets the win. Balor is what RAW has
needed. A fresh face. Finn Balor will main event WM33 against whoever the
UV Champ is at that time. The Demon is headed for Wrestlemania.

MATCH: Finn Balor won by last eliminating Sami Zayn

is the PPV that by far takes the longest to write, with Wrestlemania
probably being 2nd, as you could imagine. My cards for Fast Lane and

Fast Lane 2017 Card (RAW)
- Universal Title: Kevin Owens (c) vs Samoa Joe vs Roman
Reigns
- Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins (Summerslam rematch, winner
gets a shot at UV Title at WM which means if Balor loses he loses his Rumble
win. Obviously HHH would screw Rollins here again. This is also a match
Balor wanted for Rollins "injuring him")
- US Title: Chris Jericho (c) vs Sami Zayn
- RAW Tag Titles: The Club (c) Open Challenge (As said in
Part 1/2, The Club would attack Cesaro and Sheamus after the two are
eliminated by Baron Corbin. All of the teams on RAW have already faced the
Club so many times. Any team, returning, on SD, on the current roster,
could face the Club in an open challenge. Would create interest and be
something fresh. After the attack, The Club would finally win the RAW Tag
Titles in a Steel Cage match against Cesaro and Sheamus.)
- CW Title: Neville (c) vs Zack Sabre. Jr
- Braun Strowman vs Big Show
- Charlotte (c) & Nia Jax vs Bayley & Sasha Banks

vs Bray Wyatt vs The Miz vs Kane (Elimination Chamber Match; This is self
explanatory, Chamber matches at the Chamber PPV. The first 4 listed in the
match I'd think need no explanation. As far as Miz, he's been fantastic
ever since his TS breakout promo. He honestly deserves a World Title shot;
and I think it's time to make Kane relevant again. He could get back into
the mix and say that WM33 could be his final match, and with all the Taker
WM33 questions he could get relevant again. I would say easily put Orton
or Harper or Ziggler, etc into this match, but I have other plans for
them)
- SD Women's Title: Alexa Bliss (c) vs Becky Lynch vs
Natalya vs Naomi vs Nikki Bella vs Mickie James (Elimination Chamber)
- IC Title: Dean Ambrose (c) vs Tye Dillinger
- SD Tag Titles: American Alpha (c) vs The Revival
- Randy Orton vs Luke Harper (If Orton wins, he gets Bray
at WM)
- PRE SHOW: Dolph Ziggler vs Apollo Crews
And as it says in the table at the
top of the post, WWE would film a backstage WWE.com video after of Shane
McMahon and Daniel Bryan approaching Tye Dillinger as he's walking through the
curtain from being eliminated, and they praise Tye and call his performance a
"Perfect 10". They sign Tye to an SD Contract.
Well, that was how I would book the Royal Rumble match. This took me very long to write. As I said, you can check out Part 1 of the Rumble that I did in the link at the beginning of the post.
