How WWE Should Book TLC 2017 (RAW)

 Image result for tlc 2017

Hey everyone! Ever since Night Of Champions 2015, through multiple accounts, I have been fantasy booking WWE PPV's in detail, mainly just because I love writing and wrestling. I major in journalism in real life. As always, enjoy the post, and give me your thoughts and what from my post you'd like to see really happen on the show. Without further ado, here is How I Would Book TLC 2017. (For those that have seen these posts before that are confused, I was previously u/ThePipeBomb11)

KICKOFF SHOW:

  • Our Kickoff Panel consists of Renee Young, David Otunga, Sam Roberts and Jerry Lawler. They hype up the matches and give their predictions throughout the hour, and we're also shown video packages. A Social Media Lounge segment with Kurt Angle is announced earlier in the day. Use #AskAngle. The panelists blab throughout the show and Sam Roberts is annoying throughout. Drew Gulak finally finished his PowerPoint presentation. We get the SML, and then with about 20 minutes left, we go to our kickoff match.

KICKOFF MATCH: Alicia Fox vs. Sasha Banks (Singles Match)

  • Sasha is out first followed by Foxy. Earlier in the kickoff before the match, the referee that Fox shoved on RAW is interviewed by Charly Caruso. The match goes 10 minutes. The match ends after Fox hits a Northern Lights Suplex off the top rope and Sasha kicks out. Fox snaps and walks out on the match. Fox looks back on the ramp as she’s counted out.

WINNER by Count Out: Sasha Banks

  • The panel gives their final predictions for the main event, and we say goodbye as the main show begins.

MAIN SHOW:

  • IT’S WWE’S DEMOLITION DERBY, MAGGLE. Not gonna lie, definitely one of the weakest PPV cards in recent memory. Nothing besides the main event has any real draw or star power, and only one title is bring defended on the show. But I’m gonna try to make the best out of that. We get our opening credits and video package, and we get a wide shot of the arena and TLC’s on the stage as Cole welcomes us to the show..... WELL THAT WAS THE INTRO I HAD TO THIS POST BEFORE THE BIG NEWS. ABOUT 30 MINUTES AGO, IT WAS ANNOUNCED THAT KURT ANGLE IS RETURNING TO THE RING AT TLC TO REPLACE REIGNS AND STYLES IS FACING BALOR. FOR LACK OF A BETTER TERM.... HOLY FUCK. I've had to completely erase Balor/Wyatt and the original TLC match, but I'll post it in the comments just so you can see what would've been. This PPV has gone from no one cares to MUST SEE. Let's get into it.

1ST MATCH: Asuka vs. Emma (Singles Match)

  • Triple H’s Authority theme hits after the match rules are announced to a big pop. Papa Hunter comes out on stage and wastes no time introducing his debuting NXT Child. Asuka’s music hits and she comes out with only a spotlight as the arena goes dark, sporting a brand new mask. After Asuka enters the ring we see a brief video of her NXT reign. Emma is out next. The match goes 14 minutes. Hopefully the two top their London Match. Asuka wins her debut with the Asuka Lock.

WINNER by Submission: Asuka

  • We get an ad for NXT Takeover: War Games.

2ND MATCH: Kalisto (c) vs. Enzo Amore (Singles Match for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship)

  • “Enzo, it doesn’t matter what you think. This Sunday, I am going to do Lucha Things to you and walk out of TLC as the NEW Cruiserweight Champ”.... Lucha Things is out first followed by Enzo. The match goes 9 minutes. I have no idea what this match will even be. I can only imagine how these two styles will mix. I hate that they’re swapping the belt so frequently lately, but the only time besides Neville that the CW division has actually felt important is when Enzo was champ, so get the title back on him as soon as possible. Enzo wins the title back after Ariya Daviari's music hits but he doesn't come out and Enzo low blows Kalisto and then hits an Eat Defeat for the win to become a 2 time champ. I was thinking about doing the theme music distraction bit with Neville before the whole walking out debacle happened.

WINNER and NEW WWE Cruiserweight Champion by Pinfall: Enzo Amore

  • We get an old-school backstage handheld camera promo from The Shield, talking about how they’ll overcome the odds tonight like they always have.

3RD MATCH: The Brian Kendrick & Jack Gallagher vs. Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann (Tag Team Match)

  • Kendrick and Gallagher are out first followed by Swann and Cedric. Don’t really know why this is on a PPV, I don’t watch 205Live much, they really should’ve done a better job to explain the feud. The match goes 13 minutes, and Kendrick and Gallagher get the win after Swann jumps to the top rope for a Phoenix Splash but Kendrick catches him and flips him down to the mat and locks in the Captains Hook to tap out Swann. Cedric tries to run in for the save but Gallagher knocks him off the apron with a very loud headbutt.

WINNERS by Submission: The Brian Kendrick & Jack Gallagher

  • We get a backstage interview now with The Miz, Sheasaro, Kane and Braun, also with a handheld camera mocking the Shield, but this time the camera is on a tripod, because Sheasaro are above The Bar and Miz has fancy Hollywood equipment.

4TH MATCH: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Mickie James (Singles Match for the RAW Women’s Championship)

  • Mickie is out first followed by Alexa. We get formal ring introductions. The match goes 15 minutes. If you want Mickie to be this hot again after this match whatsoever, she should win the title here. It’s starting to be the same thing with Alexa every week. About time for a fresh face as champ. James gets the win with a Mick Kick.

WINNER and NEW RAW Women’s Champion: Mickie James

  • We get ad for Wrestlemania 34 tickets going on sale.

5TH MATCH: AJ STYLES VS. DEMON FINN BALOR (Singles Match)

  • Scroll back up to the intro of the main show part of this post to see my reactions to this... I love that they're saving the Demon even though he's not fighting Sister Abigail anymore. This could truly outdo Cena/Styles from the Rumble as WWE MR MOTY. THE DEMON is out first followed by A. J. STYLES. The match goes 22 minutes. Give these two plenty of time to put on a clinic. The two shake hands before the match. Some spots in the match:
  • AJ goes for a Phenomenal Forearm but Balor counters with a huge mid-air dropkick
  • PELE KICK PARADE. Styles is down and Balor runs up top for a Coup De Grace. Styles moves out of the way and Balor lands on his feet. Styles whips Balor into the ropes and Balor runs at AJ with a clothesline but AJ hits a Pele Kicks. Balor falls into the ropes again and springs off with a Pele Kick off his own. Styles runs the ropes and Balor tries a Pele Kick, AJ ducks and scoops up Balor, and hits a German Suplex into the middle turnbuckle.
  • Balor brings the top stair of the ring steps into the ring, with bad intentions in mind. AJ comes in out of nowhere and nails Finn with a Ushigoroshi. Styles hits a STYLES CLASH ON THE STEP. Later on in the match, Balor hits a Coup De Grace on the step.
  • Balor is down, AJ SPRINGS OFF THE TOP ROPE FOR A 450 SPLASH BUT BALOR KIPS UP, SIDESTEPS STYLES, AND HITS A TOP ROPE ASSISTED 1916.
  • And of course, before and after the match, the two Two Sweet each other and finger shoot each other.

Balor gets the win after a Coup De Grace on the steps. After the match, the two hug, and all of a sudden The Club's music hits. Gallows and Anderson both come down clapping and all 4 hug in the middle of the ring and then Too Sweet. The curtain call has been recreated.

WINNER by Pinfall: Finn Balor

6TH MATCH: The Shield (Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins) & KURT ANGLE vs. The Miz, The Bar (Cesaro & Sheamus), Braun Strowman & Kane (5-On-3 Handicap TLC Match)

  • Ever since Braun was announced as a 4th guy on Team Miz a few weeks ago, I'd had this idea for the Shield's 4th partner of their own: The man who was almost Roman Reigns, KASSIUS OHNO. I had it all envisioned in my head. That just wouldn't fit without Roman there now. Too damn bad. Ohno would've been awesome, finally claiming his rightful place in The Shield. Braun is out first followed by The Bar, then Kane and finally The Miz and Maryse. The 5 wait in the ring but the Shield's music isn't hitting. We cut outside AND DEAN AND SETH ARRIVE IN A HELICOPTER TO THE TARGET CENTER LIKE OLD DAYS. They both enter the arena and they're shown walking through the shops area Goldberg-style, but without the security guards. They finally enter the actual arena and do their entrance in their Wrestlemania 30 masks through the crowd. They both stand on the apron and then things start to get SUCKY because Kurt Angle's music hits and he comes out with a singlet and mouthguard, because THE MAN IS WRESTLING IN WWE FOR THE FRIST TIME IN OVER 10 YEARS. Who ever would've thought Kurt's return would be in a TLC MATCH? Really insane. The match goes 32 minutes. I don't even feel the need to list a ton of insane possible spots. Really there's just one that I NEED.
  • Angle sets up a Table in the ring, and knocks Braun onto it. Angle climbs up to the top rope, and delivers an Angle Moonsault through the table to Braun. First one in 10 years.

Obviously, The Shield aren't gonna lose, and Kurt godamn Angle isn't gonna lose in his return match, so The Olympic Shield wins after Rollins hits his spinaround knee on Sheamus, Ambrose hits a Dirty Deeds, and Sheamus hops up off the impact and Angle hits an Angle Slam onto a ladder and pins Sheamus on the ladder. After the match, Ambrose and Rollins celebrate with Angle on their shoulders as Angle bites the gold medal he won with a broken freakin neck. Everything seems good until Ambrose and Seth both look up at Angle and start beating the hell out of him. They roll him out of the ring and hit a Shield Bomb through the table on Kurt to end the show. Kurt would return the next night, but bandaged up. We still won't know how long Roman and Bray will be out of action until they return, but this would lead to Kurt Angle vs. Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania, a match I've thought of for a while now. Every year after Survivor Series, I post my Wrestlemania card in a post and explain every match. That's a sneak peak for one.

It's really a pain to do these cards either for or after dual-brand PPV's. So many different people in so many feuds. Those would be the top 3 matches on RAW's SS card.

I hope you enjoyed! Tell me what you liked and didn't like, and what from this post you'd like to see on the show. Be sure to look out for my "How WWE Should Book NXT Takeover: War Games" AND "How WWE Should Book Survivor Series 2017" the day before those shows! And my Wrestlemania 34 card will come out not long after that. Enjoy TLC, everyone!

How WWE Should Book Hell In A Cell 2017 (SDLive)

KICKOFF SHOW:

  • Our Kickoff Panel consists of Renee Young, David Otunga, Peter Rosenberg and Jerry Lawler. They hype up the matches and give their predictions throughout the hour, and we're also shown video packages. A Social Media Lounge segment with Bobby Roode is announced earlier in the day. Use #AskGlorious. The panelists blab throughout the show and Peter Rosenberg is terrible throughout. We get the SML, and then with about 20 minutes left, we go to our kickoff match.

KICKOFF MATCH: Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin vs. The Hype Bros (Tag Team Match)

  • Gable and Bejamin are out first followed by The Hype Bros. The match goes 9 minutes and it's an average TV-quality match. Gable and Benjamin have lots of offense to show what they can do and Bejamin gets the win for the team when Shelton and Ryder are legal, but Mojo runs in and gets nailed with a Superkick from Shelton. Shelton goes up top and hits a Swanton on Mojo then immediately leaps up and sidesteps a charging Zack Ryder with a Paydirt for the win.

WINNERS by Pinfall: Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin (They eventually adopt the Team Name "American Made".

  • The panelists give their final predictions, Lawler talks about how much he loves Diet Dew, and we get ready for the main show.

MAIN SHOW:

  • We get our usually devilish, spOokY opening HIAC PPV video package. IT'S THE DEVIL'S PLAYGROUND.... or whatever. We get the opening wide shot and we see the cell towering over the arena, and it begins to lower down with the music and lights for our first match.

1ST MATCH: The New Day (c) vs. The Usos (Tag Team Hell In A Cell Match for the WWE SDLive Tag Team Championships)

  • We get a video package as the cell lowers of all these two teams encounters since MITB. In my opinion, the best in-ring WWE feud of the year. What's been better? The Usos are out first followed by New Day. The match goes 19 minutes. Xavier is locked on the outside of the cell during the match. The two teams have another classic and at one point Woods actually climbs to the top of the cell with a steel chair and props it down and watches from above for a better view. He climbs up with a backpack and grabs some popcorn from a planted fan in the crowd, and drops food through the holes on The Usos when they're on offense. The match ends when The Usos both set up two tables in the ring on opposite sides near the ropes, and then they both climb opposing cage walls about halfway. They're about to leap off the cell wall into the ring through the tables when out of nowhere THE AUTHORS OF PAIN RUN IN (from their cozy mancave under the ring) AND BOTH YANK THE USOS OFF THE WALL AND POWERBOMB THEM ONTO THE APRON. They beat the hell out of both teams and Akam and Rezar both pick up Big E and slam him through the cell door. They hold up the titles over the bodies of Usos and New Day, with Woods still watching in horror from atop the cell.

WINNERS: No Contest; New Day are still SDLive Tag Team Champions

  • We get an ad for KFC, one of the PPV’s sponsors.

2ND MATCH: Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler (Singles Match)

  • We come back into the arena and all of a sudden ROB VAM DAM’s music hits. Everyone jumps from their seat thinking that RVD is returning right in his hometown of Detroit, but then boos overwhelm as it’s only Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler does all the RVD antics and then points and laughs at the crowd, and says that everything RVD has ever done, he can do better. He drops the mic and then goes to the back and comes out again as another Detroit native, DIESEL. Dolph walks to the ring as Big Daddy Cool and then rips off the gear and stomps on it, with his actual gear under it. Roode is out next for his first ever MR PPV entrance. The match goes 14 minutes, and I expect this to be a very good clash of styles. This will be a match that surprises people. Roode gets the win after countering a Zigzag with a Glorious DDT.

WINNER by Pinfall: Bobby Roode

  • We get an Asuka video package, and a reminder that she debuts at TLC.

3RD MATCH: Randy Orton vs. Rusev (Singles Match)

  • Rusev is out first, yelling RUSEV NUMBER ONE followed by Orton. The match goes 11 minutes. It doesn’t seem like they’re setting up Randy for any big programs anytime soon again, although I would love to see the rumored Megateam Tag Titles run with Cena after he comes back. Rusev gets the pin on Orton after a barrage of spin kicks. Rusev Day II will occur on Tuesday.

WINNER by PINFALL: Rusev (NUMBER ONE)

  • We get an ad for tapout and then an outside shot of the brand new Little Caesar’s Arena.

4TH MATCH: Natalya (c) vs. Charlotte (Singles Match; WWE SDLive Women’s Championship)

  • Natalya is out first followed by Charlotte. The match goes 13 minutes, because Natalya and Charlotte should always be trusted to have a good match together. Both women work profusely over each other’s legs throughout the match and Charlotte eventually locks in the Figure 8 AROUND THE RINGPOST, (with her on the outside and Nattie in the ring), and becomes the first woman to be NXT, RAW AND SD women’s champions.

WINNER by Submission and NEW SDLive Women’s Champion: Charlotte Flair

  • We get a backstage interview with Rusev and Charly Caruso and Rusev is ELATED (what does that mean?). He’s insanely excited that he finally slayed the viper, and he’s got a surprise for everyone... TUNE IN TO SD TUESDAY FOR RUSEV DAY II.

5TH MATCH: AJ Styles (c) vs. Baron Corbin (Singles Match; WWE United States Championship)

  • Styles is out first followed by Corbin. We get formal ring introductions. I have no clue why Dillinger wasn’t put in this match, as he’s legit been involved in every segment of the build of this feud. Maybe he’ll get his shot at Survivor Series, which I’ll have the SD Card for at the end of this post. The match goes 16 minutes, and Corbin gets the win after catching A PHENOMEMAL FOREARM INTO AN END OF DAYS. Corbin must beat Styles clean here after his treatment since his failed cash in. I think Baron could make a great US Champ. He’s still rapidly improving. AJ’s loss here is very important as it plays into the next match, in which the VERY FIRST Wrestlemania 34 ANGLE IS OFFICIALLY BEGUN. (hint: the angle is Styles/Nakamura. Oops.)

WINNER and NEW United States Champion by Pinfall: Baron Corbin

  • We get what will be the one of the final WWE 2K18 “Be Like No One” ads before the game comes out in the coming days.

6TH MATCH: Jinder Mahal (c) (with The Singh Brothers) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (Singles Match; WWE Championship)

  • Nakamura is out first followed by Jinder. Before the match can begin, the Singhs are locked outside the cell, and Daniel Bryan’s music hits and he announces that the brothers are BANNED from ringside for the match, and if they disobey that order, MAHAL WILL BE STRIPPED OF THE WWE TITLE. Finally some consequences. The match goes 12 minutes. I just don’t trust these two to have a good match. At all. Not after SS. The two do their damn best. If you think Shinsuke Nakamura is winning his first WWE Title not in the main event, and especially before the India Tour, you are very mistaken. The match ends when Nakamura is going for the Kinshasa and Mahal ducks and Shinsuke knocks out the ref. Nakamura is trying to think quick about what just happened but that’s interrupted when he turns around into a PHENOMEMAL FOREARM BY AJ STYLES. Styles beats the shit out of Shinsuke with a chair. AJ Styles is Heel once again. The best AJ Styles. He wants to get back on top, and he wants to prove everyone wrong that says he can’t Nakamura on the grandest stage of them all wrong, and what better chance than tonight? AH hits a Styles Clash on the chair and then walks to the back without looking back and Jinder slithers in and covers Nakamura to continue the reign of terror. This was really the best way for Jinder to retain in a fashion that wouldn’t leave fans absolutely pissed. It would end up being Styles/Mahal at Survivor Series... will the WWE Championship become PHENOMEMAL for the second time? (My best cole impression)

WINNER and STILL WWE Champion by Pinfall: Jinder Mahal

  • THE FASHION FILES ARE BACK. The newest episode airs on the tron and then Breezango actually come out and demand to find out who their attackers are or the main event won’t happen. Harper and Rowan attack them. Boom.

7TH MATCH: Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon (Falls Count Anywhere Hell In A Cell Match)

  • Heeeere we go. We get a video package before the match. Shane is out first and he wants to start this on top of the cell. Owens follows and he refuses to climb and enters the cell and sits in the corner of the ring. Shane mocks Owens and Kevin IS NOW PROVOKED TO BEAT A MCMAHON SENSELESS. The two brawl on top of the cell. The match goes 22 minutes.. ALRIGHT ITS THE DAY OF SO IM GOING RAPID FIRE NOW. JUST CUTTING TO THE CHASE, LOTS OF INSANE SPOTS, SHANE GOES OFF THE CELL AND DIES AGAIN, THEY FIGHT THROUGH THE CROWD AND BACKSTAGE, Match ends when they’re in the cell, and Owens is beating down Shane the cell door was actually busted open earlier in the match, and all of a sudden Sami Zayn runs down, assuming to help Shane, but nice old El Generico turns heel and aligns with Owens. Owens hits a PUP for the win.

WINNER by Pinfall and Sami Zayn Heel turn: Kevin Owens
