How WWE Should Book Roadblock: End Of The Line 2016

Image result for roadblock end of the line 2016

Hey everyone! Every month, days before PPV's happen, I share my thoughts on the show and card and how I would book the show that has unexpected swerves, returns, debuts, and a memorable show that would leave fans happy. If you want, you can read some past editions of these by clicking on my name and searching. I have been doing these for every PPV since Night Of Champions 2015. I hope you enjoy, and this is how Roadblock... END OF THE LINE Should Be Booked.

PRE SHOW

  • So I already wrote the pre show but it got deleted so I'll summarize it. Since Jerry & Lita are gone, they're replaced by Tom Phillips and SAM ROBERTS who literally just announced on his Twitter that he'll be a part of the panel. That's great for him. He's always fun to watch. They hype up the matches and give predictions and we get interviews and video packages and all that and a SML with Sami Zayn is announced earlier in the day. The SML comes and Zayn answers questions about how he plans to conquer Strowman. With about 20 minutes left in the kickoff, we get to our match.

KICKOFF MATCH: Big Cass w/ Enzo Amore vs Rusev w/Lana

  • Enzo & Cass are out first and they do their usual sctick, but Enzo struggles and breathes heavily, with bandages all over his head and body, selling his attack. Rusev is out next and he gets on the apron and Cass is ready for a fight but without warning Rusev just jumps down and charges Enzo again. He grabs him by the collar and throws him over the barricade into the timekeepers area. Cass runs to stop him and obviously wants to murder Rusev now. Cass & Rusev brawl into the crowd and then eventually it finally spills to the ring and the match goes about 9 minutes from there. It's a really physical hoss fight. Near the end, Rusev knocks Cass down with a Spinning Heel Kick, and he's doing his pose and yells "MACHKA" as he prepares for the Accolade, but he stops and stares in disbelief as Enzo has crawled over the barricade and is trying to get into the ring. Rusev runs and hits a sliding dropkick to Enzo, knocking him down, and off the distraction, Rusev turns around and Cass hoists Rusev up and hits the East River Crossing for the win. To some, Rusev could use a win here, and everyone will scream that he's BURIED after he loses here, but he'll get his momentum back, as he would be given the #1 spot in the Royal Rumble, after he shoves Mick Foley the next night on RAW, when he's furious about his loss and that he isn't being given a rematch. It would give Rusev lots of exposure and they could make a great angle out of it. They could have him face former Royal Rumble winners & legends in short matches in the weeks leading up to the Rumble, as a way to "train" for such a big pressure on his shoulder.

WINNER: Big Cass w/ Enzo Amore

  • The panelists give their final predictions for the big matches abd we get to the main show.

MAIN SHOW

  • We get the opening video package and pyro. Before the show even starts, we get an interview with Roman Reigns backstage. He talks about the possibility of becoming a double champion tonight and his opponent, Kevin Owens walks in on the interview. He calls Charly a disgrace at her job and tells her off. Owens and Reigns trash talk each other and Owens pulls the trigger for Reigns when he mentions his family being "disappointed in him" for his "lackluster title reign". Roman throws a wild right and throws Owens into the curtain. A brawl breaks out and then we go to the stage.

1ST MATCH: Seth Rollins vs Chris Jericho

  • Rollins is out first to kick off the show, followed by Y2J. At first, it might seem weird to put this match on first, but it'll make sense for the end of the match and for what happens in the main event. The match goes about 16 minutes. Near the end, Seth Rollins is getting a lot of offense in and hits a nasty superkick on Jericho. Jericho falls and springs off the ropes and so does Rollins as he goes for a slingblade but Jericho hits a Codebreaker. Jericho is trying to get up to make the cover when all of a sudden Owens and Reigns are still fighting and come up through the stage exit and they fight down to the ring. Reigns & KO brawl on the apron near the announce tables and Jericho runs and Disaster kicks Reigns off the apron, meaning to hit Owens. Jericho screams at Owens and as Reigns grabs Owens on his shoulders and powerbombs him through the announce table, Rollins hits an O'Connor roll on Jericho then jumps over him and kicks him in the gut and hits a Pedigree for the win. Rollins looks pissed at Reigns for interfering in the match, but celebrates on the ropes. Jericho on the other hand, isn't even angry at Owens this time. He just has an evil smirk.

WINNER: Seth Rollins

*We get an ad for Story Time on the network.

2ND MATCH: New Day (c) vs Sheamus & Cesaro (RAW TAG TEAM TITLES)

  • Well, rejoice everyone! New Day are the longest reigning WWE Tag Team champs of all time. It's gonna be really funny to see how angry everyone is when they drop the titles here. All this build up for them to just lose them the next week. It's clear WWE just wanted them to break the record, and then they wouldn't really care about the reign. New Day are out first followed by Sheasaro. The match goes about 9 minutes and Cesaro goes on a rampage of all 3 ND members like he did on RAW. The match ends when Kofi and Cesaro are the legal men and Kofi goes for a Trouble In Paradise and does his spin but Cesaro catches his leg and sends him into the air for a Very European Uppercut, which Kofi massively over sells and nearly lands straight on his head & neck. Cesaro gets the pin and we have new, much much deserving RAW Tag Team champs. They could either just get the titles here, or they could have New Day slowly tun heel by holding on to the titles for 478 more days and everyone gets really pissed off. At this point, I and many others just don't care about New Day anymore. I think this is definitely the right choice. New Day could break up somehow. It'd be awesome to see Big E end up winning the Andre Battle Royale at WM.

WINNERS & NEW Raw Tag Team Champions: Cesaro & Sheamus

  • We get an ad for Tapout, and an interview with Jericho about Owens interfering in yet another match. Jericho just shrugs, looking laid-back, and says "I don't really care".

3RD MATCH: Charlotte (c) vs Sasha Banks (30 Minute Iron Woman Match for the RAW Women's Title)

  • We get a video package before the match and Sasha is out first followed by Charlotte. They both have big new gear. We get formal ring introductions and immediately as the bell rings, Sasha is giving her title to the timekeeper, Charlotte runs at Banks for a Spear but Sasha sidesteps her and she goes shoulder first into the post. Charlotte sells and tries to back out but Sasha hits a Backstabber into the Bank Statement. Charlotte gets to the ropes and hoists herself up with Sasha on her back, and hits a huge arm drag, runs off the ropes & hits a Natural Selection & the puts her feet on the middle rope for leverage, but the ref doesn't see. Charlotte takes this first fall as an opportunity. She thinks she can just run away from the match and she wants to try last 30 minutes away from Sasha. Charlotte scurries up the ramp & and to the back & Sasha follows close behind. Charlotte gets into a car in the parking lot & tries to drive away but Sasha just throws a fucking brick through the window and the glass shatters. Sasha drags Charlotte out the window. They brawl backstage for a while and then they get back to the ring. The score ends up being 3-1 Charlotte. Sasha hits a Frogsplash through a table to get it to 3-2. Immediately after, she locks in a Bank Statement. There is about a minute left and anticipation sets in if Sasha can get 2 falls in only a minute, and there is 1 second left, and Charlotte begins to tap the exact second the bell rings and the timer hits 0, and at that moment, as Charlotte's hand is about to hit the mat to tap, out of nowhere EMMA runs in and tackles Sasha. She beats her down & then holds up the title. Emma is obviously a heel, so she wouldn't attack Charlotte directly, even though this wouldn't create an alliance with Charlotte. Emma's reasoning for the attack is commonly used but simple: While she was sitting on her ass at home, injured, training and doing physical therapy every damn day to get back to kicking ass, Sasha was constantly in the title picture and taking advantage of being a champion. She would play on the fact that many fans are upset with that the RAW Women's Title is nothing but the Hot Potato Title, and she's gonna be the one to bring meaning to the belt. Emma is very talented, and she would face Sasha for the title the next night on RAW. She wouldn't win it obviously, but she would eventually get another shot at Fast Lane. In the 20 women Rumble, which I will have the FULL card for at the end of this post, Bayley would win, which is perfect anyways, because she can regain some huge momentum she's lost, and she would challenge Sasha at Wrestlemania for the RAW Title. Hey, at least Charlotte/Sasha is finally over.

WINNER & STILL RAW Women's Champion: Sasha Banks

  • We get an ad for the Royal Rumble at the Alamodome, and then we go to the kickoff panel to get their thoughts on the show so far.

4TH MATCH: Braun Strowman vs Sami Zayn (10 Minute Time Limit)

  • It's kinda ironic that there's a 30 minute time limit match & 10 minute time limit match on the same show. We get a video package & Sami is out to first followed by Braun. As Braun is making his way out, before he can even walk down the ramp, Sami runs up to him on the stage and starts throwing wild punches. Strowman wobbles but eventually ducks and throws Zayn off the stage into a pyro box, and it kayfabe explodes. Tons of medics come to check on Sami, but Brauny The Snowman kills them all. Braun brings Sami into the ring, and dominates the entire match, with Zayn getting extremely little offense in. No matter what, the resilience of Sami helps him hang on. With about 30 seconds left in the match, Strowman is on the middle rope and is about to hit a splash but Sami whacks Braun with a kendo stick, assuming the 10 minute limit means No DQ, and goes crazy on Brum. Breen Strawman now has marks all over him and is woozy in the corner. Sami retreats to the opposite corner & runs and hobbles but nails a Helluva Kick. Braun falls right in the middle of the ring but Sami can't make it up in time to make the cover. Everyone boos and Sami struggles to get up and is throwing a fit. The next night, Sami would finally get his win over Braun in an LMS match by piling a bunch of boxes on him, in a finish similar to the Bray Wyatt/Cena LMS match at Payback 2014.

Sami Zayn survives 10 minutes.

  • (Sorry if there's lots of spelling mistakes or if this show just plain sucks. This is probably the worst effort I've put into one of these, since I've only just gotten home from a business trip, so I'm a bit tired). We get a backstage interview with the returning Emma where she talks about a small portion of what I said she should say at the end of Sasha/Charlotte.

5TH MATCH: Rich Swann (c) vs TJ Perkins vs The Brian Kendrick (Triple Threat for the WWE CW Title)

  • The action between these 3 as of late has been superb, and I think this match could steal the show. Swann is out first & no one can handle that. Out next is Kendrick and finally Perkins. We get formal ring introductions. The match goes about 13 minutes and Swann retains the belt after hitting TJ hits a Wrecking Ball Dropkick on Kendrick, knocking him out of the ring, and then he turns around into a Lumbar Check.

WINNER & STILL WWE CW Champion: Rich Swann

6TH MATCH: Kevin Owens (c) vs Roman Reigns (WWE Universal Title)

  • We get a video package before the match and we see the brawl between the two at the beginning of the night. Reigns is out first followed by KO. The match goes 25 minutes. Some big spots in the match: Owens powerbombs Reigns on the apron, Owens throws Roman into the ropes for a PUP and Reigns is sent up in the air but nails Owens with a Superman Punch and Owens kicks out at 2.999, Owens PUP's Reigns on the US Title, showing true disrespect, and the big spot happens near the end of the match when Reigns is laid out on the Spanish announce desk, (Reigns powerbombed Owens through the regular Raw one at the start of then show). Owens hops up on the barricade and looks for revenge and sets up to do a Swanton through the table. Reigns gets up before KO can leap and Reigns gets Owens on his shoulders, and gives Kevin a huge Samoan Drop, sending them both crashing through. The match ends when Owens is going for a PUP to finish off Roman and retain his title, but all of a sudden Jericho comes from the crowd and runs into the ring and nails Reigns with a Codebreaker. The ref calls for the bell and Owens looks furious. Jericho calls for a mic and talks about how he and Owens were never really best friends. He says he's sick of KO costing him opportunities every damn week. He says he has something to show Owens. He pulls out the list and in the very center, written big to fill up the entire paper, it says KEVIN OWENS. The crowd gasps and Owens can't believe it. Jericho says that it's time he's taken care of Owens once and for all. He says he's tried to win the US belt, KO costed him. They tried to become Tag Champs together, Owens failed him. He says there's one title on RAW he hasn't tried to go after yet. He pauses and stares at the Universal Title. The crowd pops and chants Yes. He says that he wants Kevin Owens. He says that it will be so sweet to finally prove that he was the dominant member of JeriKO. He says it will be even sweeter to finally shut Owens up by becoming the Universal champ. He says that it would be even sweeter to win the title going into Wrestlemania, and he talks about his experience of being a Mania main eventer. He says "Kevin, I want you for your title at the Royal Rumble, do you understand what I am saying to you right now?!". Kevin shakes his head and says he thought Chris was better than this he goes to leave the ring but Jericho gets in his way. He goes to leave another way but Jericho blocks him again. Owens laughs and then slaps Jericho. He throws him shoulder first into the ring post in the corner. Jericho is hurt and Owens gets him up and leans him against the turnbuckle. Owens goes to the opposite corner and runs at him with his title but Jericho moves. goes for a Codebreaker, but Owens catches him. Owens throws him in the air for a PUP but Jericho nails him with a mid-air dropkick. Owens rolls over and Jericho kicks KO in the grapefruits and finally lays him out with a Codebreaker. Roadblock goes off the air with Jericho holding the Universal Title over Owens, saying it's his road to Wrestlemania. Just to clarify: this isn't really a face turn for Jericho. That would be terrible, plus Jericho hit him with a Low blow. It would be Heel vs Heel at the Rumble for the title. Foley would come out the next night on RAW and put Jericho in a Gauntlet Match in the main event, where he would get Owens at the RR if he won. Owens would try to screw Jericho over with the last guy, (gauntlet matches have you beat 1 guy, another comes out, beat him, another comes out, and then beat the final 3rd guy), but Jericho would ultimately get the win and the title shot. I don't usually like when PPV matches, especially main events end in DQ, but if it advances a story like this, than it's alright. This all probably sounds like absolute shit on paper, but if it actually happened it would turn out to be quite good.

WINNER by DQ: Roman Reigns

ROYAL RUMBLE 2017 CARD

  • 30 Man Royal Rumble Match
  • WWE Title: AJ Styles (c) vs The Undertaker
  • Universal Title: Kevin Owens (c) vs Chris Jericho
  • Brock Lesnar vs Shane McMahon (This match would kick off the show. I figure it would be a good way to just get this feud out of the way so it doesn't happen at WM. Lesnar and Shane could get heated again somehow, and Shane proposes a match, where the winner gets a spot in the Rumble. Lesnar's spot could be in jeopardy. I think it'd make for a fun match.)
  • 20 Woman Royal Rumble Match (women from SD, RAW, some NXT surprises/debuts, and surprises like Trish, etc).
  • Women's Champ Supremacy: Sasha Banks vs Alexa Bliss
  • RAW Tag Team Titles: Cesaro & Sheamus (c) vs The Revival (Tornado Tag Elimination Street Fight)
  • WWE CW Title: Rich Swann (c) vs Lince Dorado vs Drew Gulak vs Cedric Alexander

Pre Show

  • Some Multi-Man CW match

Well, that's how I would book Roadblock: EOTL! Once again, "(Sorry if there's lots of spelling mistakes or if this show just plain sucks. This is probably the worst effort I've put into one of these, since I've only just gotten home from a business trip, so I'm a bit tired". Be sure to check out my big 2-Parter "How WWE Should Book The 2017 Royal Rumble" post the day before that! Also, around Wrestlemania season, I always have my "How WWE Should Book The Road To Wrestlemania 33", where I book from the Royal Rumble,(now for both brands)", up until Wrestlemania. Some big things going down as we get closer to the show of shows. Tell me what you liked or didn't like, and enjoy the show tonight!

How WWE Should Book Survivor Series 2016

Image result for survivor series 2016

Hey everyone! Every month, days before PPV's happen, I share my thoughts on the show and card and how I would book the show that has unexpected swerves, returns, debuts, and a memorable show that would leave fans happy. If you want, you can read some past editions of these by clicking on my name and searching. I have been doing these for every PPV since Night Of Champions 2015. I hope you enjoy, and this is how Survivor Series 2016 Should Be Booked.

PRE SHOW

  • Oh... oh god... it's 2 hours... We get the usual panel of Renee, Booker, Lita, and Jerry Lawler. Two Social Media Lounge segments are announced earlier in the day with Kalisto and Sami Zayn. There actually haven't been any Pre show matches announced as of yet, so we can use our IMAGINATION and make some up! We get to our first one.

1ST KICKOFF MATCH: Bo Dallas vs Curtis Axel

  • At least this has a tiny bit of background behind it. Bo and Axel still have unfinished business after their mini feud a few weeks ago. Bo is out first followed by Axel. The match goes 8 minutes and Axel gets his win back after pinning Bo with a Perfect-Plex.

WINNER: Curtis Axel

  • We get the SML with Kalisto and then the panel talks some more and give predictions and we get video packages and all that good stuff. We get to our 2nd kickoff match.

2ND KICKOFF MATCH: TJ Perkins, Neville, Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann vs Ariya Daivari, Gran Metalik, Drew Gulak, & Tony Nese

  • 8 man tag. Neville should be part of the CW division. The heels are out first followed by the face Team. The match goes 14 minutes, and the faces win after Neville hits a Red Arrow onto Daivari's legs and then tags in TJ to locks in the kneebar on his injured knee.

WINNERS: TJ Perkins, Neville, Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann

  • We get the Sami Zayn SML and then we get the panel's final predictions and thoughts, and we get to Survivor Series.

MAIN SHOW

  • We get the opening video package and pyro as Michael Cole welcomes us to the 30th annual Survivor Series. Like Summerslam, the RAW team will call RAW matches, the SD team will call SD matches, and for dual brand matches, like the one that's kicking off, both teams will talk.

1ST MATCH: New Day, The Club, Cesaro & Sheamus, Enzo & Cass and the Shining Stars (TEAM RAW) vs Heath Slater & Rhyno, Hype Bros, Breezango, The Usos and American Alpha (TEAM SD)

  • New Day is out first and they have all sorts of canaidian stereotypes, as Big E tosses out Maple Syrup to the crowd, and Kofi has a canaidian flag, and Woods is wearing a Maple Leafs jersey playing a special red and white trombone. Their gear is red and white also. Slater/Rhyno out next, followed by Enzo and Cass, then Breezango, then The Shining Stars, then Hype Bros, The Club, Usos, Cesaro and Sheamus, and finally American Alpha. The match goes 28 minutes (SS matches are always really long, calm down). The champs on both respective brands start it off. The Hype Bros are eliminated first after the Club hits a magic killer. Next, The Usos eliminate Sheamus/Cesaro after arguing. New Day eliminate Breezango. Shining Stars eliminate Usos. It looks like RAW is killing SD, but SD make a comeback. AA eliminate Shining Stars and Enzo/Cass. Slater/Rhyno eliminate Club. New Day are the last RAW team left, and for SD it's down to AA and the champs. Woods has some shenanigans with the trombone on the outside and throws it at Slater and then Big E eliminates the SD Tag champs with a Midnight Hour. The lone survivors on either team are New Day and American Alpha. The crowd is electric and Jason Jordan and Big E are the legal men. They lock up and they fight for 2-3 more minutes. The ref is distracted by Xaivier as he thinks he's trying to help Big E, but suddenly two men in hoods come from under the ring. They lay out Kofi and Xaivier and then run to the back. It would be revealed the next night on Raw that the masked men would be the debuting Revival, and in the main event they would defeat New Day for the titles. Revival would say they don't care about Brand Supremecy, and they damn sure didn't do it to help their formal rivals American Alpha. They wanted to make a name and deception overcame New Day to give the TOP GUYS a title shot, that they knew with !00% certainty they would win. Alpha hit Grand Amplitude on Big E and AMERICAN ALPHA are now instantly over to the spot they deserve and they look impressive. Alpha would say on SD that they didn't like the way they won, but they knew they would for SD. American Alpha are the lone survivors, and would challenge for the Tag Titles against Slater/Rhyno at TLC in a Chairs match. I'll have the match card for TLC at the end of this post.

WINNERS: TEAM SD LONE SURVIVORS: AMERICAN ALPHA

  • We get an ad for WWE Shop.

2ND MATCH: Brian Kendrick (c) vs Kalisto (Cruiserweight Championship; if Kalisto wins, the CW's move to SDLIVE)

  • Kendrick is out first followed by Kalisto. The match goes 13 minutes. I hate to be having so many title changes in such a short amount of time, but it's obvious that Kalisto will and should win here because 205Live is right after SD. Plus, Kalisto was US Champ at the beginning of the year, so he has credibility, and he's really good. The match ends when Kendrick locks in the Captain's Hook, but Kalisto leans against Kendrick and makes his way to his feet, still holding on to Kendrick's head, and then runs off the ropes and hits a Salida Del Sol for the win and title.

WINNER and NEW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION: Kalisto

  • We get a backstage interview with American Alpha about being the lone survivors and winning for SD.

3RD MATCH: Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Nia Jax & Alicia Fox (Team Raw) vs Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Carmella, & Nikki Bella w/ Natlaya (TEAM SD)

  • Bayley is out first followed by Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Carmella, Alicia Fox, Alexa Bliss, Sasha, Naomi, Charlotte, and finally captain Nikki Bella with coach Natalya. The match goes 22 minutes. Sasha and Alexa start things off. Nia Jax eventually gets in and plows through everyone and eliminates Naomi and Carmella to get Raw a good start. Becky locks in the Disarmer on Alicia to tap her out and eliminate her. Bayley hits a Bayley to Belly through the SD announce desk to eliminate Alexa. I love Alexa the most out of anyone on this team, but Becky and Nikki should be the final two on SD. At least it's a big way to send her out. Sasha hits a Backstabber into a Bank Statement to tap out Nikki, and Nikki goes to the back and shes about to do the same to Becky but all of a sudden Charlotte runs in and throws Sasha out of the ring. She just wants to be a dick heel. She wants the pin for herself. The glory for herself. She throws out Banks and runs off the ropes and hits a spear to Becky to win the Women's match for Team Raw. It's 1-1.

WINNERS: TEAM RAW Lone Survivors: Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax & Bayley

  • We get an ad for TLC.

4TH MATCH: Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman & Roman Reigns (TEAM RAW) vs AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton & Shane McMahon w/ James Ellsworth (TEAM SD)

  • I'M #TEAMBRAUN. Owens is out first followed by Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton, then Chris Jericho, Shane McMahon, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and James Ellsworth, Braun Strowman, AJ Styles, and finally Seth Rollins. The match goes 35 minutes, and has lots of first time interactions that everyone will jizz over and lots of big spots and moves. Rollins and Reigns argue over who will start the match and Ambrose walks up to them for a huge pop for another mini Shield Reunion. Ambrose gives them both a jumping Dirty Deeds. Ambrose throws Reigns out and Rollins and Ambrose start the match. Orton eliminates Roman after Roman hits Orton with a Superman Punch, and then runs off the ropes to hit a spear but Orton catches him Midair with an RKO. Shane hits Jericho with a Coast to Coast with a trashcan to eliminate Y2J. Bray and Strowman are the legal men at one point and they have a staredown. Suddenly, Luke Harper runs in from behind and Orton RKOs the ref and Harper and Bray beat down Strowman with steel chairs. Wyatt hits a Sister Abigail to eliminate Strowman. It's not looking good for RAW. Strowman gets offered to be helped out by trainer but he pushes them all down. As Strowman is walking to the ramp, Ellsworth runs up and extends his hand to a HUGE pop. The man that started it all for the Chinless Wonder. Strowman looks pissed and Ellsworth realizes what hes done. James tries to run but Strowman catches him and MURDERS him by giving him a Running Powerslam through the barricade. Owens starts to make a comeback as Rollins is laid out on the outside and he gets RKO'ed by Orton. Rollins runs in to try to help but he eats a Styles Clash from AJ. It's 1-5. Kevin Owens is the last member of Team Raw to a full Team SD. Owens has the "Yeah I'm fucked" look on his face. Styles hits a Pele Kick on Owens as he turns around. Owens is down now and Styles goes to the apron to set up the Forearm. Owens is up and Styles is about to jump but Bray Wyatt runs in and hits a Sister Abigail to pin Owens and win for Team SD. Wyatt celebrates as AJ is still on the apron and looks stunned. Styles goes in the ring and pushes Wyatt. Wyatt and Styles have words and Styles says that that was his pin. Styles slaps Bray and Bray laughs. Wyatt hits a Sister Abigail on Styles and then holds up the WWE World Title to a huge pop. Styles is laid out and Wyatt drops the title over Styles then walks out. Another Wrestlemania storyline has just begun.

WINNER: TEAM SD LONE SURVIVORS: Clean Sweep

  • We get an ad for the network and Wrestlemania.

5TH MATCH: The Miz (c) vs Sami Zayn (Intercontinental Championship)

  • Sami is out first followed by Miz. I really don't get why they had Ziggler lose the title last week. Sami is just gonna win it here. Maybe they wanted to keep Ziggler looking strong for something. The match goes 16 minutes and Zayn wins the title after he hits a Helluva kick. But then he wants to really send a statement. He puts Miz back in the corner for a second Helluva kick. 1. 2. 3. Sami Zayn is finally champ. Zayn is interviewed after the match by Byron Saxton and there is confetti everywhere. Zayn talks about what he went through to get to this point. He says he think he would be treated better on SD, and disses Mick and Stephanie, and says the IC Title is STAYING on SD, because he's GOING to SD!

WINNER and NEW IC CHAMP: Sami godamn Zayn

6TH MATCH: Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman vs Goldberg

  • This match will be very interesting. The crowd reaction and how Goldberg does, as he's 49, hasn't wrestled in 12 years, and tweaked his shoulder on RAW. We get a video package before the match and Lesnar is out first followed by Goldberg. All main roster and NXT talent are there and we see DIY doing their Glorious Bomb during the entrance with their newly won NXT Tag Titles as they promised. The match goes 11 minutes, because there's no way Goldberg can do a really long match. At first, as a rib to the fans, they lock up once for a few seconds, then break it then lock up again, as a flashback to what their WM20 match was. They try to lock up one more time but Lesnar gets Goldberg up on his shoulders and hits an F-5, and Goldberg just barely kicks out. Hopefully it's much better than expected and exceed's everyone's expectations. In one spot, Goldberg spears Lesnar into the ring post. The big spot in the match is when Goldberg nails Lesnar with a Jackhammer through the RAW table. Lesnar works over Goldberg's arm the whole match and at one point he powerbombs Goldberg onto the apron and Goldberg's arm lands on the edge. The match ends when Lesnar locks in the Kimura Lock on Goldberg and in kayfabe breaks his arm, and Goldberg taps out. Lesnar hasn't won with the Kimura Lock in a while, and it would tell a good story here. After the match Goldberg is put in a Splint and stretchered out. Lesnar is celebrating and poses on the middle rope as pyro goes off. Lesnar has won the mega match. The camera is focused on Lesnar as he gets down and we hear the crowd erupt. All of a sudden, Samoa Joe runs and nails Lesnar with his newly won NXT Title. Just because Joe won back the title doesn't mean he can't be on the main roster, as many superstars have done the same, and he's no doubt losing it back to Nakamura at the show in Osaka, Japan in December. Heyman screams at Joe but then Heyman tries to apologize and says his "I;m just an advocate" line and Joe grabs him by the collar and hurls him over the ropes. Joe nails Lesnar with a Muscle Buster and then locks in the Coquina Clutch and won't break it even after all the trainers and refs in the locker room spill out to try to stop him. Joe finally breaks it. We have another Wrestlemania storyline begun.

WINNER: Brock Lesnar

How NXT Takeover: Toronto 2016 Should Be Booked

Image result for nxt takeover toronto 2016

Hey everyone! Every month, days before PPV's happen, I share my thoughts on the show and card and how I would book the show that has unexpected swerves, returns, debuts, and a memorable show that would leave fans happy. If you want, you can read some past editions of these by clicking on my name and searching. I hope you enjoy, and this is how NXT Takeover: Toronto Should Be Booked.

PRE SHOW Yes, I do Takeovers. Too. If for some godamn reason you want to read the first one I did, which was Takeover: The End, follow this link: https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comments/4n85zd/how_nxt_takeover_the_end_should_be_booked/

  • The panel consists of Renee Young, Lita, Mauro Ranallo, and Sami Zayn. The reason Sami is there is because I think it would be cool to start a tradition to have a former NXT star on the panel every Takeover, and why not start with arguably the greatest NXT star ever, Samuel Zayn? We get video packages and the four talk and give their predictions. Zayn says he'll become the IC champ tomorrow at SS to end the kickoff. We go to the main show.

MAIN SHOW

  • We get an opening video and then Tom Phillips welcomes us to the show as we get the opening pyro.

1ST MATCH: The Revival (c) vs #DIY (2/3 Falls Match for the NXT Tag Team Titles)

  • I love these two teams. They are the best. They are the textbook definition of amazing. They are great. The Revival have put on showstopping performances with everyone they step in the ring with, and we saw what they can do with Gargano and Ciampa at Takeover Brooklyn II. Now, we get to see them go at it again, and we get to see it... more... than once... because 2/3 falls. The Revival are out first followed by Gargano and Ciampa. The second DIY get in the ring they run up and stare down Revival. Revival hold up their titles and then go to the corners. We get formal ring introductions and then the match starts. It goes about 21 minutes in total. The first fall goes to DIY as Ciampa and Dawson are the legal men, with the other two laid out on the outside. The two have a fast paced sequence, reversing finishers, when finally Ciampa flips over Dawson and gets a quick rollup. Dash immediately starts beating down Ciampa after. The 2nd fall goes to Revival via Count Out after they lay out Gargano on the outside after a Shatter Machine through the announce desk. Gargano eventually gets back in with help from Ciampa but Revival went to grab their titles and Dash pretends to "accidentally" have backed into the ref, knocking him over, and they both whack Gargano and Ciampa with their titles. That spot will be key in the ending. After a phenomenal battle, both teams have to hold onto each other to even stand and DIY deliver huge uppercuts to both men, knocking them back down. Ciampa tags Gargano in and they're about to go for the Double Knee strike. Ciampa is all fired up and the crowd is going crazy, and Gargano is in the opposite corner preparing for the move. Ciampa slows down, and just stares at the titles laid out on the mat from Revival's attack earlier. He looks at the titles, looks at the crowd, looks at Gargano, looks at the titles, the crowd, Gargano. He has a questioning look on his face but gets back into position as Gargano looks confused. Ciampa says he's ready and they both run at Dash but Ciampa leaps over Dash and tackles Gargano with a leaping clothesline. He beats Gargano mercilessly. The saddest day in WWE history was going to be when Gargano and Ciampa broke up, and here it is. Gargano is unconscious and Dash crawls up and covers Gargano to retain for the Revival. How ironic it is that Tomasso Ciampa has actually now chosen to DO IT HIMSELF.

WINNERS and STILL NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: The Top Guys

  • We get an ad for Tapout

2ND MATCH: Bobby Roode vs Tye Dillinger

  • Tye makes his entrance first followed by the Glorious one. The match goes 13 minutes and the crowd loves both men. At the start of the match, Roode knocks Dillinger down with a leaping clothesline. Roode goes and poses on the middle rope, spreads his arms and shouts "GLORIOUS!". As he's getting down, he turns around and Dillinger is up now and does the "10!" taunt right in Roode's face. They begin to exchange the taunts back and forth and the crowd explodes because they don't know who to chant for. This proceeds for 6 hours. Dillinger ends up winning the chant battle and as Roode is about to say Glorious again, Dillinger super kicks Roode for a 2.5 count. Tye ends up getting the upset win after countering a Glorious bomb into a Tyebreaker. I just feel like Dillinger needs the win here more than Roode, and it would continue their feud into an idea that i have for the next Takeover, which I'll have the card for at the end of this post.

WINNER: Tye Dillinger

3RD MATCH: Asuka (c) vs Mickie James (NXT Women's Championship

  • We get a video package before the match. On one hand, it's really fucking cool that MICKIE JAMES is back and fighting for a title, but on the other hand it's also kinda scary that the NXT women's division is so thin that they needed her. Asuka is out first followed by Mickie. The match goes 11 minutes and Asuka wins after Mickie goes for the jumping DDT but Asuka twists out midair and kicks Mickie in the godamn skull. Asuka retains her title.

WINNER and STILL NXT WOMEN'S CHAMPION: ASUKA

  • We get a promo for Survivor Series tomorrow.

4TH MATCH: Authors Of Pain vs TM-61 (Finals of Dusty Tag Team Classic II with Paul Ellering suspended above the ring in a cage)

  • I don't get why Ellering is in a cage above the ring but I love it for some reason. An old school stip. Authors of Pain are out first followed by TM-61. We are shown the trophy before the match and then the match begins. The AOP are definitely not ready to do long matches yet. They looked more gassed a few weeks ago than someone trying to watch all 3 hours of Raw. TM-61 are honestly really boring, and AOP are the monster heel team, so obviously they should win. They hit their finisher on Thorne. Ellering is lowered out of his cage and AOP open the door and AOP raise the trophy in the air as Dusty's theme plays and Ellering claps for them.

WINNERS of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic II: The Authors Of Pain

5TH Match: Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs Samoa Joe (NXT Championship

  • Shinsuke is out first followed by Joe. (THIS IS LITERALLY LIKE 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE SHOW SO I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DESCRIBE MUCH OF THE MATCH.) Shinsuke wins with the Kinshasa. But don't worry. We'll see Samoa Joe again very... very.. soon..

Brock Lesnar... Survivor Series... Joe is gonna kill you..

WINNER AND STILL NXT CHAMPION: Shinsuke Nakamura

NXT TAKEOVER: ARMAGEDDON CARD (This would be the day before the RR)

  • NXT Title: Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs Bobby Roode vs Tye Dillinger vs Johnny Gargano vs Tomasso Ciampa vs Roderick Strong (6 Man "ARMAGEDDON* HELL IN A CELL MATCH)**
  • NXT Tag Titles: The Revival (c) vs The Authors Of Pain
  • NXT Women's Title: Asuka (c) vs Ember Moon
  • SaniTy vs TM-61
  • Oney Lorcan vs No Way Jose vs Hideo Itami vs Elias Samson vs Andrade "Cien" Almas (5 Man Over The Top Rope Battle Royal to earn a shot at the NXT Title at Takeover: Orlando)

How did you like it? Enjoy the show tonight! Be sure to look out for my Survivor Series post sometime tomorrow.

How WWE Should Book Hell In A Cell 2016 (RAW)

Image result for hell in a cell 2016

Hey everyone! Every month, days before PPV's happen, I share my thoughts on the show and card and how I would book the show that has unexpected swerves, returns, debuts, and a memorable show that would leave fans happy. If you want, you can read some past editions of these by clicking on my name and searching. I hope you enjoy, and this is how WWE Should Book Hell In A Cell.

PRE SHOW

We get the usual panel as always with Renee, Lita, Booker and Lawler. A Social Media Lounge segment with Brian Kendrick is announced earlier in the day, using #AskTheBrianKendrick. For about the first half hour, we get video packages and the panel hypes up and discusses the matches on the card and give their predictions. We get to our kickoff match.

KICKOFF MATCH: Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado and Sin Cara vs. Tony Nese, Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari

The face team all make their individual entrances first, and then the heels. The match goes 9 minutes, and Cedric gets the win for his team after he hits the Lumbar Check on Daivari.

WINNERS: Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado and Sin Cara.

The panel talks some more and then we get the SML with the man with a plan, Brian Kendrick, to close out the pre show.

MAIN SHOW

We get the opening video package and pyro, and then we get to our first match, as the cell lowers.

1ST MATCH: Roman Reigns (c) vs Rusev (HIAC Match for the US Title)

Reigns is out first followed by Rusev and Lana. Lana will watch from outside the cell as all managers do, and the ref locks the door shut as Rusev walks inside. The match goes on about 17 minutes, and it's a brutal brawl with lots of usage of the cell. In one spot, Reigns runs all the way around the ring and spears Rusev into the steps. Near the end of the match, Rusev brings a table into the ring, and he sets it up in a corner. They brawl for a few more minutes, and then Reigns hits a Superman Punch on Rusev, and Rusev twirls around, dazed, into a Spear off the ropes through the table by Reigns. Rusev rolls in pain to the middle of the ring and Reigns gets the pin to retain his US Title.

WINNER and STILL US CHAMP: Roman Reigns

We get an ad for Tapout.

2ND MATCH: New Day (c) vs Cesaro & Sheamus (Raw Tag Team Titles)

New Day are out first and do their usual schtick. Sheamus interrupts Cesaro's entrance as usual. We get formal ring introductions. The match goes about 9 minutes. At first, I really hated that in the end of these two's awesome series that they just became a team, but it's becoming a great storyline where both are so determined to outdo eachother that they're actually ending up being a dominant team. I feel we need to let this team pan out a bit more before just giving them the tag titles, and of course WWE wants New Day to pass Demolition's record, which is only about 45 days away. As always, I'll have my card for the Raw side of Survivor Series at the end of this post, and Cesaro and Sheamus would get a rematch and win the titles in a 2/3 Falls match. The match ends when as noted, Sheamus and Cesaro are competing to try to be better and get a bigger reaction from the crowd, and things get so heated that Sheamus and Cesaro end up getting in each others face, and Cesaro nails Sheamus with a huge Uppercut, knocking him down, and then Kofi gets the rollup on Cesaro to retain their titles. Sheamus and Cesaro scream at each other as New Day celebrate.

WINNERS and STILL RAW Tag Team Champions: The New Day

Sami Zayn is interviewed backstage. He talks about his recent interactions with Braun Strowman, and then Strowman ends up walking up to him. Zayn tries to attack him with some items backstage but Strowman slaps his hand and picks him up and throws him into the curtains. Trainers and refs run down to try to break it up, and Foley is there and says that this needs to be settled, and books Sami Zayn vs Braun Strowman for Raw in a Last Man Standing match. Strange, but it could be intriguing, and a big stipulation match like that could draw a bigger audience for Raw. This will either be the best or worst thing ever.

3RD MATCH: T.J. Perkins (c) vs Brian Kendrick (Cruiserweight Title)

This match goes into the 2nd hour of the show, and kicks it off. Kendrick is out first, followed by TJ. The match goes 13 1/2 minutes, and Kendrick gets the win after he locks on the Captain's Hook with a chain wrapped around TJ's face, that the ref doesn't see. The chain might sound weird, but it signifies how desperate Kendrick is to get his spotlight back that he'll do anything and use anything to plow to the top. It might be sort of early for Kendrick to win the title, as Perkins hasn't had the longest reign yet and he should finally get his big win on a bigger stage, but he's a heel currently, so that wouldn't really work, and the reason about how he's desperate above and that I think fans already seem pretty invested in him, because they know who he is more so than all the other CW's because of his previous time in WWE.

WINNER and NEW WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Brian Kendrick

We get an ad for the Halloween Raw tomorrow, where Goldberg returns to respond to Lesnar again.

4TH MATCH: Bayley vs Dana Brooke

Bayley is out first followed by Dana. I really don't get how they've tried to build this feud. These two have no chemistry, and that arm wrestling segment was godawful. The match goes 8 minutes, and Bayley wins with a Bayley To Belly.

WINNER: Bayley

We get an ad for all the shows coming to the network and Survivor Series.

5TH MATCH: Kevin Owens (c) vs Seth Rollins (HIAC Match for the Universal Title)

Well, if Sasha/Charlotte isn't going on first, it's going on last. And they damn sure deserve to go last. We get a video package and Rollins is out first followed by Owens. The match goes 24 minutes, and it's a brawl. Lots of usage of weapons and the cell, and they tell a great story. In one spot in the match, Rollins gets Owens up for the Buckle Bomb, but instead throws him right into the cell wall to the outside. Near the end of the match, Owens hits a PUP. It looks like he's about to go for the pin, but he looks at Rollins, then looks to the outside. He wants to destroy Seth Rollins. Owens exits the ring and searches under the ring. He comes out with a sledgehammer. The same sledgehammer that HHH, who has made Owens the new golden boy of the Authority, made so famous. Owens runs at Rollins with the Sledgerhammer but Rollins kicks Owens in the gut and hits a Pedigree. Rollins struggles to get up to cover Owens but out of nowhere, HHH, who would be put under the ring before the match, attacks Rollins. HHH viciously attacks Seth, and "busts him open". HHH gets Rollins up and is about to hit a Pedigree to help Owens get another cowardly win, but Rollins gets out and kicks HHH in the gut and delivers a Pedigree to HIM. Rollins finally gets one up on Hunter. The crowd pops but Seth turns around and he's thrown into the ropes by Owens, who has recovered by now, and eats a PUP. Owens gets the win to retain his title.

WINNER and STILL Universal Champion: Kevin Owens

We go to the kickoff panel and they give their thoughts on the show so far,

6TH MATCH: Enzo and Cass vs The Club

Club are out first followed by E&C. Match goes about 6 minutes. Simple; Club NEED the win. That's all.

WINNERS: The Club

We get an interview with Roman Reigns.

7TH MATCH: Sasha Banks (c) vs Charlotte (HIAC Match for RAW Women's Title

Charlote comes out first after a video package and then she stares at the titantron for a few moments as the fans get hyped up, and then Sasha's music hits and she comes out. The match goes 19 minutes. We get formal ring introductions and the two have a stare down as the cell lowers. There have been some rumors of Charlotte/Sasha jumping off the cell. No, I'm sorry, that really shouldn't happen, I don't want to see dead people. The big spot can be that Sasha goes halfway up the cell, and jumps and hits a Frogsplash to Charlotte through the table. After this spot, trainers and doctors come down with stretchers for both women. The crowd boos and they're halfway up the ramp and Sasha won't let it end this way. She crawls off her stretcher and the doctors try to reason with her and then she runs and tackles Charlotte off her stretcher. A brawl that goes all around the arena ensues, and Sasha slams the stretcher against Charlotte, who is leaning against the cell wall. The two finally go back into the cell and the ring and Sasha locks in the Bank Statement and Charlotte taps out. The two celebrate and hug. The cell is back off the ring now and out of nowhere Nia Jax comes and destroys both women. Absolutely destroys these two. She would get so much heat for runing this big moment. Nia puts her foot over both women and holds up the women's title to end the show. Why did Nia do this? She's wants to make herself known. She's a monster, and she's sickened she hasn't gotten a chance yet. She doesn't care about any of the other girls in the division, because she's not like most girls. And yes, I am a man, and I do own that t-shirt.

WINNER and STILL Raw Women's Champion: Sasha Banks

How WWE Should Book No Mercy 2016 (SDLive)

Image result for no mercy 2016

Hey everyone! Every month, days before PPV's happen, I share my thoughts on the show and card and how I would book the show that has unexpected swerves, returns, debuts, and a memorable show that would leave fans happy. I hope you enjoy, and this is how WWE Should Book No Mercy.

PRE SHOW:

  • New intro. What do you guys think of it? Anyways, just as I began writing, Daniel Bryan announced on Twitter that Baron Corbin vs Jack Swagger will take place again on the No Mercy Kickoff, so that will happen later in the show. A Social Media Lounge segment with Alexa Bliss is announced earlier in the day for the kickoff show. Use #AskAlexa. We get the usual panel of Renee, Lawler, Booker T and Lita, and they all hype up the matches and show us video packages and give their predictions as usual. After about half an hour goes by and we get to the kickoff match.

KICKOFF MATCH: Baron Corbin vs Jack Swagger

  • Corbin comes out first, followed by Jack Swagger. The match goes 7 minutes, and throughout the match, Corbin works over Swagger's ankle and leg. Near the end of the match, Corbin swings Swagger's leg into the ring post as they're brawling on the outside, and Corbin gets the win after a suprisingly even match by using Swagger's own Patriot Lock to his advantage, making Swagger tap out to his own finisher to get the ultra dick-heel heat.

WINNER: Baron Corbin

  • The panel talks some more for about 10 minutes and then we get the SML with Alexa Bliss. After that, the panel all give their closing thoughts and predictions for the main event, and we get ready for No Mercy's main show.

MAIN SHOW:

  • We get the opening video package and then the opening PPV pyro, and we get to the first match.

1ST MATCH: Heath Slater and Rhyno (c) vs The Usos (Smackdown Tag Team Titles)

  • Slater and Rhyno are out first followed by The Usos. How do Slater and Rhyno still not have a team name? I know they've been called "Beauty And The Man Beast", but that's bad. No. It doesn't count. The match goes 12 minutes, and it ends when Slater and Jimmy Uso are the legal men. Heath is fighting in the ring but/Rhyno looks to finish it off with a Gore, and runs at Jimmy but Jimmy grabs the ref and pushes him into the way and the ref is knocked down. Rhyno is temporarily stunned and The Usos quickly take advantage of this and the ref bump by running to the outside to both get chairs. Slater tries to stop them, but Jey whacks Heath with a chair. They get ready to beat them down but American Alpha come out of nowhere from the crowd and The Usos turn around and both get superkicked chairs into their face, and then Alpha beats down Usos to finally get revenge as the crowd is going wild for AA. They're getting ready to hit a Grand Amplitude on Jimmy but Jey comes up from behind and Low Blows Jason Jordan, and he falls out of the ring. The ref is just starting to get up, and then Jimmy whacks Gable with a chair, sending him out of the ring. The ref is up now and the Usos hit a splash on the helpless Slater and Jimmy pins Heath to crown the Usos as the second ever Smackdown Tag Team Champions. A couple reasons for this result. First, I'd guess Rhyno is leaving soon for a bit anyways to focus on his campaign in Michigan again, and Slater and Rhyno, as awesome as they both are, haven't been all that impressive as champions. Usos winning the titles here would further their feud with Alpha, and Alpha could have their match and title win at Survivor Series. By the way, of course the Smackdown matches for Survivor Series will be at the end of the post. Slater could still have something to do, he could maybe challenge for the IC title at SS. Plus. Usos have been very impressive as heels so far. Alpha look on in agony as their rivals celebrate the title win.

WINNERS and NEW SD Tag Team Champions: The Usos

  • We get an ad for Tapout.

2ND MATCH: Nikki Bella vs Carmella

  • Carmella comes out first followed by Nikki. The match goes about 7 minutes until Alexa Bliss runs in and attacks Nikki, causing the DQ. Alexa and Nikki have been having sort of a mini feud in recent weeks with Alexa pinning Nikki almost every week. Alexa unleashes on Nikki, because she wants to prove to everyone that she's ready to take the Women's title tonight. Alexa gets big heat and Nikki has to be helped to the back. Carmella isn't completely forgotten though, as she would defeat Natalya and Naomi in a triple threat match on the SD after No Mercy to earn a SD Women's title shot at Survivor Series.

WINNER by DQ: Nikki Bella*

*We get a backstage interview with new tag champions the Usos.

3RD MATCH: Curt Hawkins Open Challenge

  • I don't think anyone is excited for Curt Hawkins to return here, but nonetheless, we get a short video package of Curt's previous run in WWE and his video packages leading up to this. Hawkins comes out and cuts a short pre match promo, and says he will be victorious in his debut. FACT! Hawkins drops the mic and Zack Ryder's music hits. What, did you expect it to actually be someone big? It's Curt Hawkins. He'll probably be the Jinder Mahal of SD anyways. Ryder and Hawkins have history as a tag team, so it would make sense for it to be him. Mojo Rawley is in Ryder's corner for the match. It goes about 4 minutes and Hawkins hits the Test Of Pain for the win.

WINNER: Curt Hawkins

  • We get an ad for the WWE Shop.

4TH MATCH: Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt

  • This match kicks off the 2nd hour. This feud has has some weird buildup. Bray has sent Orton on numerous treasure hunts backstage and there have been more Wyatt promos on SD these past couple of weeks than all of them in his career combined. Orton comes out first followed by Bray. The match goes about 15 minutes and Wyatt gets the win after reversing an RKO by pushing Orton into the corner and then hitting a Sister Abigail for the win. Not much to say about this match, but Wyatt needs a win after LOSING TO KANE IN 2016 at Backlash AND last week on SD. Bray carries Orton over his shoulder to the back.

WINNER: Bray Wyatt

  • We get a discussion and plug for Susan G Komen and Breast Cancer Awareness month.

5TH MATCH: Becky Lynch (c) vs Alexa Bliss (Smackdown Women's Title)

  • I think this has been a really great feud. These two women have chemistry together. Becky comes out first followed by Alexa. The match goes 12 minutes and they have put on a great match when Nikki Bella runs down and attacks Alexa Bliss, causing another DQ, getting revenge on Alexa for costing her the match with Carmella earlier in the night. Nikki beats down Alexa and she has to be separated by trainers. Alexa is helped to the back now. You might be saying that there have been a ton of DQ finishes/run-ins tonight, but I think the overall quality of the PPV and matches and the ending will make up for it. If it advances a story, then it's acceptable.

WINNER by DQ: Alexa Bliss; however, STILL Smackdown Women's Champ: Becky Lynch

  • We get an ad for the network, and HIAC and Survivor Series and all the upcoming shows, and then we go to the kickoff panel and they give their thoughts on the show so far.

6TH MATCH: The Miz (c) w/ Maryse vs Dolph Ziggler (Career Threatening Match for the IC Title)

  • This feud has been absolutely phenomenal. That is all. These two are so good together, and it's a shame we only realized that just recently. Miz is out first followed by Ziggler, and we get formal ring introductions. The match goes 22 minutes, and it is a battle. They battle all around the arena and there's a big spot in the match where Miz gets the steel steps, pushes them up to the announce table, grabs Ziggler, walks up the steps, and hits a SCF through the table. After another amazing battle, Ziggler knows what he must do. He looks at Miz struggling to get up on the opposite side of the ring. He looks at his destiny right in the face. He stares at Miz and says "I'm Sorry, I Love You". Ziggler then Superkicks himself and pins himself to end his career and help Miz retain. NO NO NO NO. Maryse throws a chair into the ring and then distracts the ref as Ziggler and Miz are on the top rope, and Ziggler tries to hit a Superplex but Miz reverses into a middle rope SCF, literally crushing Ziggler's skull into the chair. Miz quickly gets rid of the chair, and then the ref counts the 3 and Dolph Ziggler's career is over, and Miz is still the champ. Miz NEEDS to beat Ziggler here. Beating him again and ending his career would only get him more over/more heat and make him look even more strong than he already even is. Plus, Ziggler apparently has said he wants time off, and there have been rumors his contract is up soon, so Miz retains. Ziggler would make his "retirement speech" 2 days later on SD before inevitably pulling a Cena and returning the next week.

WINNER and STILL Intercontinental Champion: The Miz

7TH MATCH: AJ Styles (c) vs Dean Ambrose vs John Cena (WWE World Title)

  • THIS feud has also been unbelievably amazing, because this feud has been REAL. REAL passion. REAL emotion in the promos between the 3, especially the masterpieces between Cena and Ambrose. Cena is out first, followed by Ambrose, and then "THE MAN WHO WOULD LIKE TO BE ANNOUNCED AS THE FACE THAT RUNS THE PLACE", AJ Styles. The match goes 23 minutes, and it's very physical. There are a ton of near falls and high spots, like a flashback to Payback where Styles is on the top rope and hits a Phenomemal Forearm to both Cena AND Ambrose through the Spanish announce table. Near the end of the match, Ambrose is on the outside and has officially been taken out after Cena hits an AA on him on the apron, and Cena and Styles are brawling in the ring. AJ whips Cena into the ropes but Cena jumps off the ropes and hits the once off returning Springboard Stunner, and hopefully he DOES get all of it this time, Michael Cole. Styles is down and the crowd is very mixed as Cena is stalking AJ, waiting for him to get up so he can hit the 16th World Title winning AA. Styles is dazed and turns around and Cena grabs him and puts him on his shoulders, and he's about to finish the move when suddenly the lights go out in the arena and a bell tolls, and the fans go absolutely insane. The lights are out for about 25 seconds and when the come back on, Styles is now on the outside, and Ambrose still is too, and Cena looks around and he's ready to fight but there's no one there. He's confused and is looking around and he looks toward the stage and all of a sudden a hand comes out of the ring behind him. The Undertaker's face pops out and the fans go crazy. Taker climbs out and Cena turns around into a chokeslam from Taker. There's a chair propped in the corner from earlier in the match and Taker goes to grab it. Taker drops the chair in the center of the ring, and then gets Cena up for a Tombstone Piledriver onto the chair. Taker just stands there after the Tombstone, staring at Cena, Styles slowly crawls back in the ring, and looks scared at Taker, then quickly covers Cena to retain the title. Styles music plays for a bit as he quickly rolls out of the ring and then holds up his title on the ramp. The music ends and then Taker gets Cena up and hits a second tombstone in the middle of the ring. The PPV ends with Taker on one knee doing his signature pose with his tongue out and eyes rolled back over Cena. Now, it might be TOO far away until Mania, but I think Taker vs Cena feud beginning here with Taker screwing Cena and it could be like Rock vs Cena and other big time WM matches that could have a huge buildup. It would be Taker's last EVER match, and who knows?... Maybe Cena's last too. John Cena vs The Undertaker finally happening at Wrestlemania and being teased and advertised early could be a big time ticket seller for Mania. Taker and Cena would have more confrontations throughout the months until Mania, and obviously Undertaker would be on Smackdown. He could even wrestle a few times on Smackdown, like he did on 2013. John Cena is not a 16 time world champ, and the seeds for the big Undertaker vs John Cena Wrestlemania feud have officially been planted.

WINNER and STILL WWE World Champion: AJ Styles

SURVIVOR SERIES 2017 SMACKDOWN MATCHES:

1) WWE World Title: AJ Styles (c) vs Bray Wyatt

2) IC Title: The Miz (c) w/ Maryse vs Randy Orton

3) SD Women's Title: Becky Lynch (c) vs Carmella

4) SD Tag Team Titles: The Usos (c) vs American Alpha

5) Nikki Bella vs Alexa Bliss (No DQ)

6) John Cena vs Dean Ambrose (3 Stages Of Hell; Stage 1: Steel Cage, Stage 2: Falls Count Anywhere. Stage 3: Last Man Standing)

**Pre Show: Heath Slater vs Apollo Crews vs Baron Corbin vs Jack Swagger vs Kalisto (Fatal Fiveway for No. 1 Contendership to IC Title)

Well, that was how I would book No Mercy 2016. Tell me if you liked it, or what you didn't like. Tell me what you'd like to see happen at the actual PPV! Hope you all enjoyed, and enjoy the PPV
